Pretty weak story line. Improbable ending!

Thank you, Anonymous, for your comment - this isn't quite the end - there's one more chapter to go. "Caribbean Passion" was my first attempt at writing a novel - 73,000 words! - so it might be a little weak in places. I appreciate the feedback, though - it will help me to improve in the future!
