I hope Dave realizes that he's a voyeur. Even at the beginning of his time with Diane, he struggles with his need to protect her and his desire to watch her have sex. It's a confusing state for any man. A beautiful woman in the throes of passion is a wonderful thing!

And for those who may condemn him for that, consider this. If you watch porn, or read erotica to visualize sexual acts, you are a voyeur. In true life or in your imagination, you want to watch, period.
