Your development of the characters in this chapter was amazingly thorough, even lesser ones like the bartender. So, we now know who Jackie is and what he does, but not what his interest is in the naive Otis. Hopefully it's not for the purpose of recruiting him to work in the club's private rooms. This was another great rollercoaster ride with lows brought by the sinister business dealings and highs through the humor of Otis' naive comments. Best chapter yet.

Yes, thanks author as MarcLuciFer said. I worry Otis is pretty perfect for the 20 or so back room entertainment jobs. I think I like Utah and his attitude at this point including his dislike of Jackie. Who knows, may just help protect Otis as some point.
