Going to be a long and wet drive from England to Mexico.

This was... a little rough around the edges. In fact, it felt a little forced at times.

You don't stay in an abusive relationship because you're young and inexperienced. It made me feel like you set out to write a violent revenge story, but needed to justify your MC's actions, so you artificially prolonged his suffering. And it just felt wrong.

Then there were the smaller problems. Like, when Randy attacked your MC the first time, and your MC took his time pummeling the guy... in front of a supermarket. In public. With people shopping. And then, after Randy was thoroughly worked over and took several blows to his balls, he's suddenly perfectly fine the next day, when they meet in the nightclub.
