Now it was just a case of waiting for the moron to act.
Chapter 10 - Randy, Gone, Like a Thief in the Night
At about 2:30 am on Saturday night, Sunday morning I was wide awake waiting for the inevitable, they had to act before I went to the police on Monday morning, it would either be Saturday night or Sunday night and my guess was that the sooner done the better they'd feel.
I heard the sounds of an untalented burglar breaking into my apartment. I sat propped up on my pillows, my Glock 17 in my hand ready for action as a faint rustling game from the lounge, Randy searching for my laptop.
He wasn't going to find it until he came into the bedroom.
I knew he would be armed because he was going to have to persuade me to give up the protection I had told him the video had. It was a perfect set up.
Later, as I gulped a whiskey in the presence of Detective Samuel Adams and Sgt. Bud Weiser, I recalled how I'd heard noises of a probable break-in and grabbed my Glock, fearing for my life, then as I saw the gun appearing around the opening door, in the partial moonlight than the ceiling fan light offered, I knew my life was in danger and I took action in self-defence.
Randy, lying dead on my bedroom floor, was unable to dispute my version of events given the recently installed air conditioning created by the hole in his skull.
It seems my time at the shooting range had been worthwhile, the guy from the Medical examiner's office reckoned old Randy was dead before he hit the floor.
The detectives of course got me to admit that I knew Randy, that I was aware, as it seemed the whole town was, that he was fucking my wife and had been for many months, so they suggested I had motive,nbut I was completely unable to help them as to what his motive was in breaking into my home. They said they were going to do their level best to find out why he'd come, and I wished them luck with that.
Barring my lawyer, Shyster, who had kept no copy of the letter that I had burned after baiting my trap, only my dear wife Ruby had any knowledge of why Randy could possibly have been trying to rob me that night.
Of course, Ruby was not likely to want to talk about an incriminating video in my possession, Ruby is no genius, but self-incrimination just isn't smart.
In any event the police could investigate my laptop as much as they liked, they would find no sex tape either on it or in my cloud storage which contained happier events, like photos to when I thought I'd had a wife for life, instead of the town cum bucket.
Besides, at 4am that Sunday morning, Ruby was trussed up like a chicken and gagged, lying in the back of Olga's car, heading south towards Mexico where one of those ever-helpful whorehouses on the look out for fresh stock, had reserved a low paid job for her, food and board and all the cock you could manage was the deal.

So, with Randy gone to meet his maker, and Ruby with what was likely to be a short stay in her new job, I mean what are the odds of a long life in one of those places, especially when you are a needy princess like Ruby. Put it this way, I didn't expect to see her again. On the other hand, I suppose it could have been just about her dream job -- who gives a fuck?

Anonymous3 months agoWas going good until the fall off the cliff ending. Randy's death was too quick but understandable in the context of the story. Should have arranged some feedback about how Ruby enjoyed her stay in the whorehouse. The complete lack of payback on Shelly (and other GNO friends) really makes the story half complete.

Anonymous6 months agoI’ve got to say I can’t believe that there’s 2 people so brain dead in these stories. If I was inclined to be so stupid as to getting into the game of cuckoldry and try and impose that upon a unwilling husband there’s no way I’d get my dick anywheres near his mouth and sharp teeth because I know exactly how his dick would fair if someone tried to impose that on me. Secondly I find it hard to believe anyone could still try and call himself a man after performing with another man in any capacity. Another aspect I have a problem with is how all these writers tend to make their characters seem like whiny individuals when they go into a rant telling their almost ex spouses that they broke a promise made in front of many guests at their wedding. I’m curious why it is that writers here haven’t figured out that the relationship died long before sex occurred. The relationship is gone when either partner does things knowingly that will cause a problem with their marriage or relationship. When you don’t show your partner you care by considering their feelings, well all I’m saying is maybe eventually some of these writers will start thinking a little more realistically instead of just using the same words that most writers here have used
One other thing to keep in mind when it comes to retribution, the law says you are responsible for your words and actions that if your words or actions result in a fight or riot you’re held responsible as if you were the one to throw the first punch. I know this to be true because it kept me from being prosecuted when I put my ex’s boyfriend in the hospital. Luckily I had witnesses as to what occurred. At some point it would be nice to have stories written a little more realistically, which includes in a rape scene don’t stick your dick near someone’s sharp teeth not unless you want your new nickname to be dickless
WhoGivesAShit7 months agoHe could have ended all of it much earlier. He beat the hell out of Randy on a level playing field, so he should have been able to fight Randy off when they tied him up. Failing that, he has teeth: when they forced Randy’s cock into his mouth, bite HARD. It’s self defense. He also could have ambushed Randy when he and Ruby returned from GNO.
Anonymous7 months agoGiving credit where it's due, Die is written well in terms of Writers' Workshop criteria, so there's that.
Plot wise, I suppose it's always possible to question why a protagonist--clearly faced with a set of circumstances which continuously heap ultimate degradation upon his head--didn't act decisively to separate himself from his slut wife and her bully bull BEFORE his abuse became so severe. Months and months went by of GNO humiliation and all he did was dither and whine, so how could his dom wife NOT conclude that he subconsciously enjoyed it.
Of course the answer to that question logically would be that it would eliminate the vast majority of the plot and render the story unnecessary; so what writer would do that?
I understand and enjoy a good btb storyline; guess I'm a wimp to quibble with such a minor issue as murder--and especially with condemning ANYONE (even a cheating slut wife) to a hopeless (if short) life of endless degradation and abuse much worse (cumulatively) than what the MC suffered.
Guess I still have too much humanitarian empathy left in me. My bad.
But keep writing.
