Definitely not how I envisioned a sequel to this story! Oh it pains me that this happened to Darcy. But her and Jesses love and respect for one another is so strong, not even that can weaken it. I appreciate you using your platform to bring a healthy awareness to SA/rape and being responsible with your content! However a twisted part of me also wanted a Darcy and Jesse scene, but the nurturing side of Dom is so important it’s precious:)

On another note, no pressure but I am still anxiously waiting for Ch 14 to your other story! Great work as always. Cant wait

Why is she protecting the rapist? Seems she is relishing his return for another go.

Re: Anon and “relishing the return”

Initially I thought, said by someone who’s never been raped/ feared rape, probably male. I could easily be wrong if I am I apologise but the important thing to remember is that everyone handles this trauma differently and that’s physical and emotional. Even now in some cultures women are blamed because they allowed themselves to be used. Easily one of the worst things to handle are those who are forced to orgasm or self lubricate. That’s an utterly evil mindfuck brought on by a physiological response that the victim is unable to control.

Remember the context, it’s highly probable that nobody (other than her husband) will believe that she has been raped. It’s a he said v she said scenario and in that era of zero rights for women she would be slut-shamed for throwing herself at this other man. Women were property, frequently uneducated often seen as simple minded and tying for first place with money as being the *root of all evil*. Then add on whatever threats would have been made against her

This is an absolutely exceptional piece of writing and I can only hope it’s been cathartic to whoever needs it. I know that I appreciate it in full, sexual abuse is a lifelong trauma that permanently impacts on your life. Personal safety feels like an illusion. Unfortunately it doesn’t ease off when the guilty parties are dead. It must have taken a lot of courage to publish this. *virtual hugs*.
