Well written. Awaiting more of this story. I personally don't see Sofia as a bad person, per se. Certainly guilty of manslaughter, but not murder. Her new owner seems like a reasonable person, but we shall see what the future chapters bring. The lashings should prove interesting, as it is necessary that she feels some pain in addition to her sentence of slavery
