Can't help but love a tough guy like Drake. I like the story still but there are a few things that I found funny. Her crying b/c he was going to kill the other two vamps was just silly. I mean, she's a damn warrior, so why would an enemy wanting to kill them make her cry. She'd spend a lot of time in fights crying! I also don't know why they keep referring to him as 'the human' even as he takes out 50 vamps in front of them. I also still think you've done a good job of saying vamps are weak. None of them showed any fighting skills. Even his real warriors got grabbed by him?! I continue to like the imaginative aspects like the gun and such. I hope you can up the ante and make these supernatural creatures a bit more fierce and tougher than most humans. Keep writing. I like the story behind the scenes. What is this war that is coming? I hope you can give us background on how he knows her lord and such.
