I stopped reading when it got political on page one. Too bad, the story was interesting. I think we all need to stop trying to tear this country apart. I won't rate the story negatively because your opinions are separate from the quality of your writing. Best wishes.

There is a good reason real writers don't put a summary of their stories at the beginning. It is patronizing and unnecessary. I skipped it and then gave up totally three-quarters of the way through the rest of page one. I was dying of boredom and couldn't face another seven pages of tedium.
