"This guy they brought in became a woman," she said. "Right before my eyes."
"No way," said Carol, one of the nurses I worked with. "Now fing way. You're making that up."
"Cross my heart," she said. "This guy was brought in with some coma. His blood work was normal. CT scan normal. No reason we could figure out why he was unconscious. Wife claims he took an Ambien. But nothing in his blood screen other than an increase in estrogen and a decrease in testosterone. Then suddenly he was growing boobs, long hair, lost his junk and gained a vag. It was insane. I have never seen nothing like it. No wonder there was this military officer buzzing around all day."
My heart clenched. It wasn't my wife, that's for sure. But who was it then?
"Who is this patient?" I asked, my heart pounding.
"Uh... Seymour." she said. "That's his last name. You can look up his medical stuff on the system then go up to the ER and see that there's a woman there now. Damnedest thing I have ever seen."
I swallowed. This was something Ruru was doing, and that must be Lieutenant Seabrook that had been poking around. Worry swelled in me. I fished my cell phone out of my pocket and hurried to a quiet supply closet to make a fun call.

"I want him transferred out of here, sir," I said. "He's a full woman. Doctors are dumbfounded. A complete change of body structure. This is the alien's doing."
"This does sound serious," my commanding officer said. "I'll be there in two hours. I want to see this for myself."
"Two hours," I said, quivering with excitement. "You will, sir."
