This is worth more than 5 stars.

I liked and hated all the characters….well done! The sex was hot enough without being salacious. Amazing. And the plot was outstanding.

My only complaint is that Luke overreacts to Rogan but is calm and calculating with everything else.

That’s not likely.

George, you just get better each story you write. I didn’t like the one before this, because of the way the wife dishonored her husband. This one felt more like there was real love and honor in the relationship after the betrayal and how they worked through the betrayal. Principles were disused and agreed on, reality prevailed and our hero learned about forgiveness in relationships.

TNX again for a good tale and characters we can care for. I still have hope for more of Mimi and hope you would look into finishing the “Boiled Frog” story, I know you would finish it properly. Again TNX , Jim t…..

I love your style of writing and even though there is a lot of repeat in your stories they are still very readable and entertaining until you get to the last couple of pages when the main character after all his reluctance and strong mindedness wimps out or all the characters end up fucking each other such a shame I always think it spoils the story maybe if you just kept it to real life for a change still enjoyed it though well until the end

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

Kinda boring after he left his wife, after that he just let all people who betrayed him back in his life so i guess he lost and story almost kinda tell us that he was wrong at beginning which is kinda weird. What i didn't like the most is that two women who were his friends, and one his lover, forced him to be friend with guy who fucked his wife, that was just to much.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

Nauseating shit. I could tell when I got to page five, where I lost all respect for the main character, so therefore had no more reason to continue reading. But I do know it ended the way I thought it would. So he’s still high-and-mighty with Rogan, but took the stupid cunt back. And nine fucking pages of this crap? Spend your time reading something else, folks.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

I like your stories but it seems you intentionally make them longer than they need to be so you can justify a reconciliation. Also I only agree with reconciliation when the cheater confesses and is remorseful, you know genuinely sorry? That suicide part just highlights her narcissism smh. Captain Save a Hoe is able to be swindled again in the end. Try writing a realistic ending regarding infidelity with no kids and blatant disregard for a spouses feeling and sense of self respect

Mostly, a great tale. In the vein of GA's 'February Sucks'. I like how Luke, for the majority of the story, stays firm against Rogan. It is only at the end of the story that he wimps out, somewhat.

-

There is one theme that keeps coming up, through out the narrative, how Luke is letting what happen on one night yea4rs ago affect his judgment, that he should let it go. Benedict Arnold betrayed his nation just once. Before he was a good, loyal, patriot to the US. But, his one act of treason has marked him as a traitor forever more. His name is synonymous with betrayal. So it is understandable that Luke will not let it go, and he should not. I believe it was Shakespeare who wrote, "To thine own self be true". It is a sad that several characters think that Luke is somehow weak for standing by his principles.

-

Again, a Great story, Thank-you

Well-written, but so tiresome. He puts up a bit of a fight, but eventually lets all these terrible people harass and control his entire life, and just resigns himself to his fate. Frankly, this was a waste of good writing skills, compounded by being stretched out interminably.

One star for continuing to preach your sermon that men are weak if they aren't cozy with assholes that their wives destroyed their marriages with.

You are a whore apparently and so you can't help but see the world through slut goggles.

Rogan was not a strong man because he was marrying a whore.

You did end up portraying Luke as weak for the way he slowly caved to rubbing elbows with the vile people who destroyed his marriage on purpose and nearly destroyed a woman's life.

Kayla is also a deranged bitch for shitting on her marriage and even more deranged for becoming friends with, not only the man she destroyed her marriage with but the whore that helped him.

I've always said you have talent but you are absolutely disconnected from reality.

There are groups of deranged and vile people out there and some are even successful. They aren't to be admired and they certainly aren't strong.

They are poison to families and children.

Get help.

P.S. You never dealt with the lie Rogan told. He knew Luke had already left his deranged slut while they were still on the plane but he still kept going and even lied about it when he brought the slut to San Francisco to try and bully Luke into taking back his leftovers.

BTW, Rogan would have been turned into hamburger for behaving that way in most men's houses after fucking their wives.

Kayla was as fucking useless, vile and braindead as the rest for continuing on with Rogan at all.

Cagi, you might be a little brain dead as well for forgetting what you wrote.

You wrote Rogan as a lying and vile piece of shit but you kept having Kayla and Candice refer to him as a good man.

Maybe you should stop trying to preach the virtues of being a fucking whore and concentrate on the story.

You're actually pretty good when you do.

One of the repeat story lines with small back story. BUT CLOSE TO REAL LIFE.

The story was interesting until you understood where it was going full circle.

While real people with money get what they want, the truth is it cost them more than people understand. Both L.E. and B.G. were kings in the IT/software world, they both left trails of bodies and marriages just for flings. Buying companies left and right stealing ideas when they could not buy them.

Yes this story was interesting until I realized where it was going was rarity in the real world.

I dunno, jarring? I like your writing style (not what I usually come to literotica for but I legit enjoyed it). I'm torn between saying the end was... jarring and made me feel like I wasted all that time reading about the main character sticking to his guns and wanting to read a part two to see if Rogan really is the snake we're lead to believe or if he's really not as bad of a guy and maybe he IS trying to make things right. If the story had wrapped up with me not feeling either of those I might have given this a 5.

You're able to give your characters the illusion of life and then give them their head, so that it's the characters driving the story. It's not a plot-driven story into which the characters must fit their predetermined actions.

.

Your other strong point is in devising marital betrayals that generate strong emotional reactions. The Open Betrayal trope always does generate emotion, but in this case you don't provide a fresh take on the betrayal, something you're usually good at. Here, it's 'February Sucks' redux. It works, but with greater originality it might have had even greater impact.

.

For a bit there I thought we were veering into threesome territory, which I'm glad was avoided. Erotic/romantic tension is at its strongest among two people, extend it to a third and the tension dissipates. If I were the MC though, I'd still keep my feelers out over the Kayla/Candice relationship. Kayla is best friends with her occasional lover? Is Kayla completely satisfied in a heterosexual relationship? Could be trouble ahead. Just don't re-marry her.

Fantastically written, and for a long while the “sparring at a distance” with the antagonist was engaging, but the payoff wasn’t quite there. I love reconciliation stories…I’m just not insecure enough to need every tale to be about sulky retribution. But in this case, The second half lacked the drama, uncertainty, or climax that the story needed to maintain its tension.

Really good, anyways.

Rw43Rw43over 2 years ago

Most of your protagonists are seriously passive-aggressive, but what makes them so frightful is that you normally have them capitulate for no reason in order to end a story.

However, this time you kept him strong (though some would obviously say that if he reconciled with his wife, he wasn’t strong at all) until he had a reason to bend a small amount. When the wives are best friends and business partners, yes, you do need to be able to at least be in the same room with your adversary.

I liked this tale a lot.

Most of the time Luke gave as good as he got in the dialogue. At least Luke will never forget that Rogan f*cked his wife AFTER knowing Luke had packed up his shit and left the marriage home, meaning that the destruction was definitely deliberate.

<>

But I do wish he would have been stronger in his response to Candice’s repeated illogical “He’s more secure than you.” The reason Rogan is okay with “every one of those guys has f*cked me” is NOT that he is so secure in his sexual prowess, or in her love; it is because he has the one thing those guys don’t, and it’s CONTROL over Candice. To him the sex was meaningless. Even her love was just a means to obtain control over her.

And Luke saw that play out over and over again, as the women repeatedly tried to manipulate him into doing what Rogan wanted

.<>

Here’s an idea: if Rogan and the women really sees Luke as someone worthy of respect, why not switch it around? Why don’t the girls try to manipulate Rogan into doing what Luke wants? You know, to LEAVE HIM ALONE. Accept the word “No.”

<>

But, of course, we can’t have that, can we? The story began with Rogan trying to have sexual intercourse with Kayla, and it continued with him trying to have financial intercourse with Luke. Along the way, Rogan seduced nearly everyone else mentioned in the story, and Luke had to make peace for his marriage’s sake, but at least he still controls his own future.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

Did not like for the moronic philosophy that Candice spews out to Luke with every opportunity she could get. Couple that with Candice's constant passive aggressive belittling of Luke's manhood. Does the author think that men who show good character, such as fidelity, honesty and virtue or good old fashioned morals and ethics is some kind of rube? To the author men like Luke are described through the characters of strong, self-assured and often arrogant alpha female as being weak, indecisive and mentally and physically impotent. The alpha Candice always leads Luke back to HIS being the one ultimately to blame for his circumstances. Also Candice constantly leads Luke back to money, he could make more, much more, if only he would wake up and compromise his silly weak man values! In other words, Luke could pimp himself out like Candice did and just become another whore for Morse. 1☆ for being obnoxiously insulting to the good and healthy male values that still exist in the world. A very well told story. Mechanically near perfect. I hate the ending. I hate the concept that there is anything socially redeeming about the Rogan character. I hate that you took the reader through nine pages waiting for the MC to get vindicated and the asshole to get his. Neither happened. But you did do a great job of telling a good story with a shitty ending.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

1. As usual, the writing flows well, and the pacing of the action is excellent. Very, very, occasionally the diction is asinine. For example, the use of "bro" by seemingly educated characters is completely out of place. I lived in Silicon Valley for many years and never did I hear anyone in the upper levels of the tech business speak like that. The only times I ever heard that and similar simian English was from tatted-up 20 somethings and younger guys with double digit IQs at a cheap gym I used to frequent.

2. The plotting, as usual, was an aluminum shower. We get the usual "husband is humiliated in public by his wife running off to fuck someone glamorous" routine. Despite the routine nature of this part of the plot, the husband was powerfully written, although we get the usual essentially mindless, childlike wife. Unfortunately, but typically for this author, we eventually get to the husband's personality transplant and the absurd cuck-out about here:

"She loves you, Luke, always has. God damn it, she made a mistake. It wasn't even her fault. It was Rogan and me, we're the ones who fucked up."

"No, I fucked up as well. I overreacted. I should have taken my time and talked it through with her. Either that, or I should have thrown her over my shoulder and carried her out."

This is a museum quality example of the greatly overused LW RAAC "pivot", which in Martian cuck-ray" style uses the bogus "the little lady has no moral agency" and spurious "blame spreading" tropes to turn "Luke" into the typical weak, needy, feminized LW husband character. After that, "Luke" is written as so thoroughly pussy-whipped that he can be pushed around by the equivalent of 5th grade playground taunts ("infantile, childish", "grow up", etc.). The use of the word "mistake" is also a hoary LW cliche used to trivialize through ambiguity the difference between, say, being bitchy or overspending, and a grotesque betrayal. Similarly, the "she loves you" protestations are meaningless. The issue is, what is the quality of the love she professes for him? The answer is obviously not enough not to publicly betray him.

As for the claim by Kayla that she thought "Luke" was alright with it, both the author and "Luke" seem to have forgotten how clear the dialogue at the dinner was. "Luke" was completely clear, and no woman of ordinary intelligence could have misunderstood his position nor taken seriously some 3rd party's assurance that he would come around. His taking "Kayla" back even after it was clear that she still maintained a relationship with "Rogan", even to the point of doing "Rogan's" bidding by trying to get "Luke" to do business with "Rogan", was absolutely preposterous.

There's a lot more wrong with this, but the sad thing is that this author can't stop writing misandrist plots in which the grossly betrayed husband eventually just follows the slut/whore's pussy around like an obedient puppy - that, or she simply has never met a remotely normal man.

In the final analysis, this story, along with the author's other work, has to be viewed as reflecting the author's aspirations for society; it reflects how things would go in a feminized culture in which there are no longer any real men, only feminized simulacra of men. But, of course, a feminized culture is a dying culture, and it's entirely appropriate that this tale is set in California because California is dying.

The cucks and low T, elderly men here are keeping this above a 2, which is more than it deserves.

jaythemanjaythemanover 2 years ago

I always enjoy your stories. You develop characters well and present thought provoking situations. However, I do appreciate when characters behave consistently and this main character would never allow the betrayers(Rogan and Candace) back into his life. I can buy the reconciliation as the wife seems properly remorseful. Good people don't do what Rogan and Candace did and a minimum term for reconciliation would be to banish them from your life in every way.

Your writing is great but after reading all 9 pages I was left feeling "WHAT?" That's it? Just a huge disappointment I'm not against reconciliation and was fine in this case but the story just fizzled out. You seem to harp on about him being a little boy and that he should man up. I don't get that. He was married to the woman he loved and expected her to be faithful to him just as he was to her. What is wrong with that? You seem to think shagging around when you are in a committed relationship is fine but it really isn't unless both parties are fully accepting of that. The story needs a better ending. 3 stars for the very good writing.

Cagivgurl can definitely spin an interesting tale, so I have no qualms praising the writing skill. I started reading this tale though with trepidation, due to knowing how characters typically act in Cagivagurl's stories. The story started out w/ promise, and ended w/ yet another male accepting that women just can't help being unfaithful under the right circumstances.

This story even had a line in it where the central character is challenged to put himself in his wife's shoes, and he responds I was in her place and didn't sleep with someone else. Apparently, in Cagivagurl's world, no woman is that strong. Personally, I feel that gender does not dictate strength of character.

Although Cagivagurl writes well, I find the subject matter of the stories to be repetitive, and just not to my taste. That doesn't make it a bad story, I am just not a fan of the stories of happy cuckolds, and would advise those with similar taste to look elsewhere.

The authors story are hit and miss but I liked this one. It was upsetting but shows the level of writing for the fact. I definitely appreciated the MC was not passive, did not forgive the rich dbag who ruined his marriage, and took awhile to even forgive the ex. He maintained his standards and didn't give into the rich dbag's games. I was half expecting them to go buddy buddy towards the end but was pleasantly surprised when at best he was polite to the dbag. 5 stars, a pretty good reconcilation story that doesn't throw the MC under the bus for it to happen.

Didn't love it. The writing was mostly well done but too much of the dialogue was off putting, out of character and detracted from the story. For example, super wealthy Rogan saying, "Is whisky okay, dude" makes no sense and is completely unbelievable. This style of speech continues throughout and just burns it down.

AnonymousAnonymousover 2 years ago

5* However, the ending almost ruined it. The part that was unrealistic was that Kalya still likes the man that she let seduce her and destroy her marriage and thinks he is an honorable person. That to me is unrealistic. Any man that would manipulate a wife like he did, lie to her that husband was going to sex Candace, and not care what he did to the marriage is a total immoral piece of shit with no redeeming qualities. Kayla should had Rogan instead of liking and admiring the man that tricked her into destroying her husband. Still a good story.

P. S. Kayla and Candace are probably going through Luke's computer to try to steal his latest invention and give it to Rogan.

I'm very far from being a fan of your works in general, but this was a fine story and well written. Yes, a bit of the middle-story repetitiveness that your stories tend towards, though not too much.

5/5, and that's not how I went into the first paragraph. Thanks, and please write more like this one.

Reminds me of thise MATTBLACKUK stories where the MC gets cucked yet always acts like a saint.

A bit disappointed that Luke didn't manage to get one over on Rogan in a business sense at some point.

With Kayla being best friends and business partners with Candice... And now that Candice has married Rogan... It's just a matter of time until Luke gets fucked over again. If you think Kayla has learned her lesson and loves Luke to much to risk it a 2nd time all you have to do is look at the little game that she and Candice played trying to see if Candice could get Luke to kiss her.

As much as Kayla says she loves Luke and as much as Candice says she's his friend neither of them share his morals and way of looking at the world. It's just a matter of time...

2 pages too long.

Sudden magic ending. Nobody's position changed. MC gets drunk and suddenly capitulates, everyone lives happily everafter.

Trouble (I know she's lying) before Vegas hen party is not followed up. I expected him to set a PI on the girls, observation to start ASAP before they leave. He knows he doesn't know everything about the girls relationship and their relationship with Morse.

Things between the three involve a lot of wishful thinking plus I don't want to find out what I'm sure I don't want to know.

The master of emotions has struck again! 5*

Thank you for a great story!

@Rw43: Extremely well said. Too much dithering at the beginning for me. I think the the mc points out that it is a simple proposition requiring a simple "yes" or "no". If it isn't a straight "no" right off the top, then it is "yes" all the way and all is lost thereafter. The dithering then continues through out.

I can't believe the score for this is so low. It's as good or better than anything published in LW today. Cagivagurl showed us the roller coaster of emotions and feelings when someone you love betrays you. I personally know a man who married the same woman 3 times. The first time they were married for 7 years and divorced. The second time they were married for 8 months and divorced. The third time they married was in 1985 and they are still together and happily in love. This got 5 stars from me!

Great story, BUT!!! Think of a follow up:

Luke notices Candice along in his office where plans for his next project were slight out place. Candice claims she wanting to think Luke for the wedding gift. He asked Candice where was and she replied at the office Luke steps out of his office and calls the find my phone app which shows Kayla’s phone to be at new home with Rogan..

Luke confronts Kayla: she confessed Rogan asked her to lunch and she thought cadice would be there do sh went Then Rogan started to made advances which she objected to and left. Candice overheard and cried that tried their game while on their honeymoon.

Ugh, what a waste of time! Thirty minutes spent on terrible people. As mentioned below, serious issues in creating characters with decent personalities and honor. One star and will not read this author again.

Ugh… so close but…

Unfortunately not quite. Cagivagirl is very good at writing. But completing a good story? Not so much. Comes close but she consistently doesn’t close the gap. I always have an internal debate with myself whether or not to read your writing. It invariably leaves me wanting. Good writing but the story itself leaves me feeling unfulfilled or incomplete. If you want us to forgive and forget you need to provide us with compelling reasons so we desire good things to happen to the the offender. Sometimes you have to let bad things happen to bad people even if you don’t want btb sections in your story. We need to feel there is a reasonable amount of justice in the world. You offer a token penance but usually more for the effects of the action rather than the action itself. You present “rationale” on why the open minded would accept the bad behavior but it doesn’t close the acceptability gap. Again, definitely a skilled writer. Great use of dialogue. If you’re writing solely for yourself then well done. If you are trying to improve please help the story provide more support for the conclusion. 5 stars for your writing ability, 3 stars for your storytelling. Either way, you’re still much better than I am. And you do write them…

No. Serious fizzle in that last part.

Seemed like the long version of February Sucks... No way he should ever take her back. She admittedly still "likes" Rowan and does his bidding. Rowan wins and he loses, end of story. 1/5.

@Annie: "I'm confused."

Maybe I can alleviate your confusion. Cagivagurl is not only one of the most popular writers on the site (witness the number of views), but also gets great scores. Few writers have the skill to get a 3.50+ for a reconciliation story in LW, given the "cuck-screamers" on here. Cagivagurl is also the single most commented upon writer on the site this year. No, there are no "much better writers." They are a figment of your imagination.

As to your confusion about Cagivagurl being invited, I invite who I invite. It's my party, and I can invite, or not invite, anyone I choose. Anyone is free to ask me for an invitation. I don't invite assholes, so that leaves you out, and that is really the crux of the matter, isn't it? You're not really an Annie, but a writer who is an asshole, so doesn't get invited. Yeah, that.

"Makes a person wonder…" Wonder what? If you want to have an event and invite all these "better writers," knock yourself out. I will stand aside and cheer. Anyone can organize an event, even assholes like you. Sadly, you will have to leave your Annie status and do so under your ID. I wonder how many writers you can get to turn out for that? All the "much better" ones, I guess. The very rocks yearn in anticipation of your event. Randi.

Is this the formula for everyone of your stories? The woman proves that she is a dumb slut and the husband gets angry (rationally) and then eventually forgives and they move on? It's disappointing that the man can be betrayed and forgive so easily.
