Well, it is anarchy after all. Any woman that even talks or looks at a slave could be turned into a slave at any time. She could recite the exact phrase of the law in her confession so it must have been imprinted with the nanites from the injection. It does look better when she is able to think of what happened but is unable to resist the instructions. What make this story sad is that a man can give the injection and then take her confession instead of the other way around.
