Click hereJimmy was contacted and asked for his lawyers details, the Club was transferring ownership for the two gyms Noreen had promised were purchased for his future, he was also told that the grants to improve the gyms which she had promised were available when needed.
Many years later, Jimmy & Jane looked back on their years of membership of the Gold Band Club, they had risen to Silver Band Associates, they had become very comfortably wealthy, Jane had a fulfilling career as Michael's editor and occasional lover alongside her role as a mother of two children, Jimmy's chain of gyms and Health Clubs expanded and he employs over 250 staff. Their children go to the best schools, their circle of friends includes several famous names and though the frequency of their visits to the club fell off somewhat as the years passed, they continued to enjoy the thrill of sex with new partners completely guilt and jealousy free.
A hand delivered gold embossed invitation card had changed their lives.
well written story, didnt like the premise. this couple was obviously open to outside the marriage sex which to me indicates no real, deep love, or affection for the other. Sort of an arranged marriage which was saved by the offer from the club to let them "cheat" with the permission of the other. My guess is that w/o out the sanctioned cheating, the marriage wld not have lasted 20 yrs, usually wldnt last that long even w/ the allowed cheating. 2*s for the premise of the story, altho it was well written, no way to score for content vs writing. rk
My thinking on this story: I try to put different scenarios in stories, in this I wanted to see how readers would react to something almost entirely without a hint of cheating or any other conflict, in essence a story with an unlikely but just about believable plot were nobody is damaged, everyone effectively a winner.
Result: As always likes and hates, I just love the comments as always.
The good news - nobody died in the making of this story, thank you for taking the time to read it , even if you hated it.
While I'm not sure I could accept the lifestyle in this story in my own life, it WAS well-written and worth the 5 stars I gave it.
Just a few typos which were probably from auto-correct, like 'and' instead of 'an', but again they didn't detract from the story. (It happens to all of us !)
Sometimes we all dream of "what if..." but I just don't think I could accept an open marriage myself. I do NOT judge those who do...
...I don't believe it's my business what others choose to do, but it's fun reading stories like this one.
