I've just come across this series and your writing in toto. What a gloriously light touch you have! And your characters! They come alive on the page, with deft narrative touches and well crafted dialogue. What a treat, and a right good romp, as my father would have said.

I'm really enjoying the way the series is developing, but I do hope that Hunter gets a bit of action soon.

I really like the way that Jade, who thinks herself so smart, is being outsmarted by this 'girl', whom she barely rates. The way you play on stereotypes (super-smart Asians, easy-going Aussies, icy English girls) and then subvert those stereotypes is very clever. Then, the sex is pretty darned hot too!

She's one hell of a woman is the trainee vet. But I'm not sure I'd want her anywhere near animals. :)
