Click hereI'd turned up at the farm a decade ago with nothing more than a backpack of my belongings, kicked out of home, no hope for the future. But it's often said that when a man meets the right woman, falls in love with her, and when she loves him back, anything is possible. I live by the theory that, sometimes, just sometimes, your dreams might just come true.

A/N -- Confession time. This was originally going to have a bittersweet ending, but I'm a sucker for happy endings so finished as above. If I were to write a sequel, that would be bittersweet, but I'm sure most of you could probably figure out what might happen. (No, not end up with his mother.) No plans at the moment, as I'm happy where it finished, and I have numerous other projects right now, but if I find inspiration, I might do a second chapter for this, though it won't be a particularly happy story from the ideas I have in this noggin of mine.
The ending is perfect as it is, and they deserve the happiness after the shit they've had to deal with in their lives. No sequels or anything; if it ain't broke, don't fix it, as the saying goes. There's nothing to be gained with anything like that beyond this point. It's a nice story with a nice ending. I'm glad it turned out this way because there were a few moments in the story that sounded like foreshadowing of something dark. I was almost expecting his aunt to die during pregnancy or something (a few stories I've read have that and it's brutal on the emotions) and then he ends up with Michelle, but this ending here is better.
I could only see him killing off Jessica and marrying him off to Michelle. I LIKE IT THE WAY IT IS...LEAVE IT ALONE!
CINCO ESTRELLAS!
Fantastic as always. I too am a sucker for a happy ending. I hope you do write a sequel and we all know what will happen. perhaps a happy ending is possible though if Michelle and he end up together as she loves him much like Jess does. More please.
