Geoff nodded, "I don't mind, if you want, you can wait to Aileen's born and you can tell us together."

Erik looked over at him. "Let's see what happens, I want to talk to both your mothers first. If your old enough to ask, I guess you're old enough to hear about it."

They got to the store and they picked up some things to drink and a few other things, both for the adults and kids.

They drove home and once he parked, they got everything out of the car and loaded up the big cooler and the refrigerator on the patio with the drinks and brought the rest of it inside.

Once they got back inside, Katja smiled as she kissed and hugged Geoff, then grinning, she did the same to her mate, his was a little more intense. The children giggled like they normal did when mom and dad greeted each other.

Erik looked at them, "Someday, you two aren't going to think it's so funny."

Brigitte grinned, "We don't think it's funny daddy, we like it. When you and mommy do that, we can feel it and it feels good."

Katja grinned at her children, "Why don't you two go and play for a while."

Still grinning the two went to play with the cats following them hoping to be included in the playing.

Katja looked at Erik and shook her head grinning. Erik grinned back, then said, "Come and sit with me for a minute, we need to talk."

Katja cocked her head, "Something wrong love?"

He shook his head no, "No kitten, I just want your opinion on something."

They sat on the couch, then Erik took her hand kissing it, "I had an interesting conversation with our son. Apparently, he knows a lot more about it his mothers, than we thought."

Katja looked at him, then shrugged, "Well, we've known he kind of knew about it. Can I assume by what you said, he knows a lot more?"

Erik nodded, "I was talking to him and I asked about Gesa, then asked if he was excited to see her today. He said he was, that he'd rather see her than just talk to her. So, I told him, "Yes, it normally works out that way, I miss your mother every day I have to work."

Katja grinned at him and hugged his arm, "Then what did he say?"

Erik grinned, "He asked, which one? So, I asked him, "Which one what?"

Then he answered, "Which one, I have two, don't I?"

"So, I looked at him and said, "Yes son, both of them. You figured that out, did you?"

He smiled and nodded, then told me, "Brigit, the nice lady, told me. I guess I should call her mommy, She likes that, She gave me a hug and kiss."

Erik looked at Katja, "We'll, long story short, we talked a little more, and I told him I wanted to talk to you and his other Mother first."

Katja giggled and Erik looked at her confused, "What?"

She stretched up and kissed him smiling, "You have to admit, this is so unbelievable that we're even having this conversation."

He looked at her and sighed nodding, "Your right, I guess. What do we tell him? And Aileen when she's born."

Then they heard Brigit's laughing voice, "The truth our mate. If he's old enough to ask, he's old enough to know and handle it. He was thinking about the picture he drew of our daughter and why it looked similar to me. So, I told him not to worry, that he'd understand it one day. Until then, just remember that I am your mother also, along with your other one. And that we both love you. Your new sister will be the same way, so once she's born, you can help her understand."

Erik looked at Katja and then asked, "What else should we tell him?"

To which, Brigit replied, "As I said love, the truth, what I told you originally, this world doesn't need a hero now, or at least not like it did when the others were born. It needs a teacher, peacemaker and healer." Our son will lead and teach, while our daughter will teach and heal. They, along with Lucy and others, will be the ones to help bring this world on the correct path it should have been."

Erik nodded his understanding, and a thought crossed his mind, he'd give him the books with the stories on the others.

"Very good idea my mate, stories on the old heroes could help him understand it a bit better. Katja, your people also have stories like that, you might also do the same."

Katja nodded, "I haven't heard them in a long time, so I'll have to check for them. I think your right, it will give him some background if nothing else."

Then they heard, "May I hear them too?"

Katja shook her head, and laid her hand on her belly, "Yes kitten, we'll read them to you and tell you the stories also."

They felt her love and they smiled because of it. Then Erik said, "I think we'll let Geoff read the books first, then we'll talk to him."

Then they were surprised again as they heard, "When can I read them?"

Erik sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose. He kept forgetting that his son heard everything if someone was talking about him. Their daughters were the same way.

Katja grinned at the look on her mates face, "It's hard to get used too. I forgot also."

So Erik said, "Soon Geoff, I have to find them. Then you can read them."

"Good, I'd really like to know, and I'm almost finished with the book I'm reading."

Erik sighed once more, then he smiled as he was held and stroked by both his mates.

They started to get everything ready, with the kids helping, but as they were putting things out, Erik noticed Brigitte seem a little sad. So, Erik asked her to help him and she smiled coming over to help her father put a table cloth on the big table outside. Once they finished, he smiled and picked his daughter up to hug her and say thank you.

Brigitte grinned and hugged him back, her tail swishing back and forth happily. Erik sat down at the table holding her on his lap, "Something the matter kitten?"

She looked at him and said, "Well, I heard you and mommy talking about Geoff and Aileen. Can I learn about things to?" She asked pouting cutely.

Erik grinned to himself, she probably learned that from Ariel. "Well sure, you need to learn about things too, there's no reason to be jealous of Geoff or your sister." He hugged her to him, "We love you the same as the others, no more or no less. We wouldn't leave you out."

Brigitte purred as she held her father. "Thank you daddy, I love you too. I'm sorry."

He looked at her and kissed her forehead, "You don't have to be sorry sweetheart, you didn't do anything wrong, everyone feels like that sometimes. It's natural." He hugged her once again, "Now, let's go inside and see if mommy has anything else for us to do. Okay kitten?"

She smiled and hugged him once more as he stood and carried her into the house. Katja smiled as she saw them, then Erik asked, "Got anything else for us to do kitten?" He winked at her over Brigitte's head.

Katja smiled, she had hoped that Brigitte wasn't going to feel left out with the Aileen on the way and things they had to do for Geoff. Erik must have seen it, and fixed it.

"Well, if it's not too windy out, you can put the plates, cups, and other things out there now. The rest can wait till later. Besides, Ariel and the children should be here soon, they're coming early."

Brigitte's eyes lit up upon hearing that. Then Erik said, "Okay love, we'll take care of it." He set Brigitte down and said, "You get the plates and napkins kitten, and I'll get the other things."

Brigitte smiled, "Okay daddy." And she made her way happily into the kitchen. Erik grinned and he walked over to Katja, and gave her a kiss, "It seems our daughter was slightly jealous, I think I fixed it."

Katja smiled and kissed him, "I figured you would, I was worried about it. But then, you can fix anything." She grinned and Erik pulled her close and kissed her as she melted against him. They stayed that way until they heard, "I thought you were helping daddy?"

Brigitte stood there grinning as she held the pile of plates with the napkins on top.

Erik grinned, "I am. Are you telling me you won't stop for a bit when Bryan gets here?"

She laughed and nodded yes. Erik grinned, "So then, I'm allowed. Now go take them out while I get the other stuff kitten.

Brigitte giggled and headed out the patio door.

Katja grinned and kissed him once again. "You better go before she accuses you of goofing off."

He smiled and kissed her back, then headed into the kitchen to get the rest and walked outside. He put the stuff on the table and grinned at his daughter, "Ok now? Happy?"

She laughed and he quickly pick her up and kissed her, then put her over his shoulder to carry her inside, with her giggling the whole way. Katja looked up and grinned as she saw them playing.

Erik set her down on the floor and she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him, "Love you daddy."

Eri smiled and stroked her face, "I love you to kitten, why don't you go play or something till Aunt Ariel and uncle Tony get here." Then he grinned, "And Bryan."

Brigitte giggled, then went to her room.

Katja grinned, "I'm glad she seems happier now."

Erik nodded, "She just needed to be reminded we love her too. She was feeling a little down because of the attention on Geoff and Aileen. It's normal, I suppose, I just need to remember to include her more often. Geoff likes doing things with me, normally its things I don't think she'd like to do it, so I don't ask. I'll just make sure I do more often, even if the answer's no."

Katja nodded, "I was worried about that, so I'm glad you fixed it love."

Erik nodded, "So am I." Then he sighed as he pulled her close to hold her, "It's just that I know what it's like not to have a father at that age, so I guess I overcompensate sometimes with Geoff."

Katja nodded her understanding and kissed him. He was such a good man and a doting father.

He smiled and asked, "So, are we already? Or do you need any more help?"

She shook her head no, "Everything's ready, when are they delivering the food?"

Erik looked up at the clock, "In about two hours, we've got plenty of time."

She grinned, "Then why don't you join me on the couch, I could use a little attention too."

Erik smiled and swept her up in his arms and carried her over to sit down. She curled up in his lap, then pouted cutely, "You're not kissing me yet."

Erik laughed, "You and your daughter learned that from my other sister, didn't you?"

She grinned and nodded, then he proceeded to kiss her and make her happy.

About a half-hour later, they were still curled up together on the couch making out like teenagers. Erik grinned to himself, he had to explain that to her, put she was a quick learner.

Then the doorbell rang, and he looked over to the security controller on the end table and saw it was Tony and the family, so he pushed the talk button, "It's open Tony, come on in. The door opened and they walked in, then Ariel and Tony smiled as they saw them. Ariel grinned and said, "Having fun, are we?"

Katja grinned back, "We were before he had to answer the door. He was right in the middle of kissing me."

Ariel laughed, "Ahh, poor kitten. Like you don't get enough."

Erik and Katja laughed and got up. They were greeted with hugs and kisses, then Bryan came over holding a small stuffed dragon. Erik grinned, "That's a nice dragon Bryan."

He smiled shyly, "It's for Brigitte, I got one too."

Tony looked at Erik and grinned winking at him, "They had a buy one, get one, so he thought she'd like it."

Erik grinned and picked him up, "I think she'll like too, why don't you go give it to her. She's in her room." It looked like one from the dragon movie the kids watched all the time.

He grinned shyly again, "Okay, I will." Then he got nervous and asked, "Ah, it's alright if I give it to her, isn't it uncle Erik?"

Erik nodded, "Sure Bry, it's fine by me. He looked around, then whispered to him, "She was a tiny bit sad before, this should cheer her up."

Bryan grinned and hugged his uncle Erik. Then Erik set him down, and he made his way to her room.

Erik looked at Tony and grinned, "She owns him now you know."

Tony grinned back, "I know the feeling, it's always something little that gets you."

Ariel and Katja were talking while Katja was holding Kendra as they talked. "So, how's my favorite niece?"

Kendra giggled and hugged her, "I'm fine aunt Kat.

Ariel grinned, "I swear she like's you better than her own mother."

Katja hugged her niece and laughed, "And mine don't with you?"

Bryan walked down the hallway and stopped in front of Brigitte's door, then he shyly knocked lightly on it. He waited a couple seconds and the door opened, Brigitte smiled and grabbed his hand and pulled him in.

She hugged him, "Bryan. I missed you."

Bryan always felt a little funny when she hugged him. He didn't know why, but he did like it. "I missed you too. Ah... here." He held out the small stuffed dragon.

Brigitte purred in pleasure. "It's for me?" She asked wide eyed.

Bryan smiled and nodded, "Daddy got me one, and you could pick out another. So, I thought you'd like it."

She purred louder and threw her arms around him and hugged him again, purring the whole time. "Thank you so much Bryan, I love you."

Bryan's little mind spun as she hugged him and then got worse when she said she loved him. He really didn't know what this all meant, but he knew he didn't want it to stop. Then, the dragon in one hand, she took hold of his other and pulled him out to the living room. They got out there, and she said happily "Look what Bryan gave me."

Katja grinned as she saw them, Brigitte was excited and held both toy and Bryan's hand. She also grinned at the look on Bryan's face, it was a mixture of joy and confusion.

She grinned looking at it and said to her, "That's very nice kitten. It looks like one of those in the movie you like so much."

Erik and Tony also saw the look and grinned at each other. Then Erik said quietly, "Yep, she owns him, heart and soul, I know that look. Well."

Geoff had heard them; his room was next to hers. He'd smiled, Bryan was his best friend. He was glad he and his sister were friends also. He knew they were going to be like their mommy and daddy when they got older. Just like he and Gesa were also, but it was all a little confusing at times.

But since Bryan was here, he knew aunt Ariel and uncle Tony were also. He smiled; Uncle Tony got him a new T-shirt with the pictures on them when he grew out of the old ones. He had also told him he'd teach him how to ride motorcycle when he got older, like he did with Nemo.

So, he put on one of the shirts, it was his favorite, it had pictures of wolves on it. Then he went to the living room, and hugged Aunt Ariel, she was always fun to be around, then Kendra who smiled and giggled, then he shook Bryan's free hand and he smiled as he saw his sister holding his other hand, tightly. She grinned at him, "Geoff, look at what Bryan gave me."

Geoff smiled at them, "That's nice Brigitte. Good choice Bryan."

Bryan smiled at his best friend, "I know, I thought she'd like it, I got one too, just a different color."

Geoff grinned, "I need to say hi to uncle Tony, I'll be back."

He walked over to were his daddy and uncle Tony were talking, he grinned, "Hi uncle Tony."

Tony looked down and grinned back at him, he bent down and picked him up giving him a hug. "Hey kiddo, how's my favorite nephew doing?"

Geoff smiled at him, his daddy was his idol, as was uncle Tony. He was a huge man with more muscle's than he had seen on anyone else. "I'm doing good, I went with daddy and we got stuff for the party."

Tony grinned, "You did? That's great." The he smiled once more, "I see I'm going to have to pick you and Bryan up some new shirts soon, you both have almost outgrown the last ones."

Geoff smiled again, "That would be great."

Erik grinned at the man he called brother, Geoff and his son were like they were and had been since the first day they met. Geoff always had hero worship on his face when he talked to Tony, but it didn't bother him a bit. "I swear, you get more mileage out of one T-shirt than all I do."

Tony laughed, "It's not my fault he has good taste."

Geoff looked at his father, worried that he thought he like uncle Tony better, "I still love you daddy."

Tears came to Erik's eye's, "I know you do son; I always do. I'm just playing with your uncle; we've been doing that for a very long time."

Tony felt the love Geoff had for both of them, and his eyes got a bit wet also. Then he grinned, "He's right kiddo, once you get older, I'll tell you some stories of the things we did, you and Bryan are a little young for those story's yet."

Geoff grinned than sighed, "I wish I was older already; everyone tells me that."

Then he giggled as both Tony and his father kissed him, then Erik said, "Everybody says that son."

Tony set him down, "Why don't you go play." He grinned, "Your main squeeze should be here soon."

Geoff laughed, "She's already on the way, she told me." He tapped his head.

Erik and Tony laughed as he went to see Bryan and his sister.

Tony sighed, "Gods, I love that kid."

Erik grinned, "He feels the same way bro."

They watched as Geoff, Brigitte, Kendra, and Bryan sat on the couch, along with Marcus and Neffi begging for attention from the four of them.

The adults talked for a bit, then Geoff grinned, "Mommy, Miss Allie is here." Katja grinned and about thirty seconds later, the doorbell rang. Then she, along with Geoff following her, went answer it.

Katja greeted Allie and Axel, they exchanged hugs, then she got one from Gesa before she hugged Geoff, both of them grinning ear to ear.

They walked in, and were greeted by others. Then Gesa and Geoff walked over and Gesa held her hands up to Erik. He grinned and picked her up, then she wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him. "Hi Mr. Erik."

Still grinning, Erik hugged her back and "Hello sweetness, it's good to see you." The greetings over, he put her back down on the floor and she grabbed Geoff's hand to hold it tightly. Her and Jonny had been like adopted son and daughter to him since the first time they came over. She had to be the sweetest little girl. He smiled as he remembered the day he met her and Celia blessing her.

Geoff led her over to the couch were the rest of the kids and cats were playing and talking. She grinned when Brigitte showed her the dragon Bryan gave her.

Axel went to join Erik and Tony, then Katja asked Allie, "Is Jonny picking up Lucy?"

Allie nodded, "Yes, since they're starting at the college soon, they've been spending as much time together as possible."

Ariel grinned, then asked, "They still waiting to get mated until after they finish?"

Allie nodded, "Yes, they figured it would be better, Lucy still has another year before she comes of age by our laws, but has three more by the human ones."

Katja nodded, "It's better anyhow, this way they can concentrate on school and Lucy's training."

Allie nodded, "But I do feel a little sorry for her, she might be almost sixteen chronologically, but mentally and physically, she's probably slightly older than Jonny."

Katja agreed, "It's going to be a problem with all of them, some more so than others. But according to Erik, they don't want to change the laws, because if they did, it would have to apply to everyone. Though he did say them may try to change some things, but again, he's not very sure.

Ariel nodded, "That's understandable really, it would cause more problems than it would help if they did."

Allie nodded, then shrugged, "I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens."

The next ones to show up, were Nemo, Erin, and Celia.

They all greeted on another, and talked for a bit, then Nemo, Erin and the others went out to the patio. On the way out, Erin and Nemo stopped to say hi to the children. Erin had been helping Cassie and Allie at the learning center originally, but since it got so busy at the shop, she was spending most of her time there, but she did miss spending time with the kids.
