Once again you have captured everything. Pity young Beccy can't find another Archie and become the toast of the 1930's Sapphic set in London.

Mama Pixie the Domme, is perfect. And I'm getting very fond of Squirty Becky too. The sex scenes were beautifully described. (I take it you write from experience, Pixie!) And you managed to get a reference to John Buchan in too. I wonder if Richard Hannay will become involved with Mama Pixie's new protege? It goes without saying that this gets 5 stars.

Dr beulahthemick; Oh, Pixie you are one, first Churchill, now the large number of MP's and members of the House of Lord's who were Nazi sympathisers, many working hard to help him succeed in the UK. The owner of the Daily Mail's brother only avoided internment because he was dying (on the 2nd of September 1939, he wrote a front page article supporting Hitler and saying any war would be a mistake). I just love how you mix Pixie's amazing love-life with the events of the time, the women's clothing, how society worked then etc, as a historian who specialises in the post WW1 period it is just perfect. More please and soon, five stars naturally.

Well, Pixie, I liked your comments on The Season and the ruthlessness of the upper-crust mothers ("For the female of the species...") not to mention what makes a girl suitable (she has a good seat on a horse). When I was a boy The Season was a regular on the cinema newsreels (and many of the 17- and 18-year old girls could easily have passed for forty). I believe the formal Season ended in the late 1950s although some of the toffs struggled on with it informally. Love your mixture of history and erotic fiction. As ever, you are surpassing yourself.

Such an easy read — entertaining, great/incisive/witty dialogue, and wonderfully erotic sex perfectly in line with the story and the characters (never ever gratuitous in your work; yes, sometimes rowdy and raunchy, but always integral to the storyline). I am thoroughly enjoying the mixture of humor and eroticism, plus I am getting a history lesson thrown in. I am not fully cognizant with British social history but this feels authentic to me. I was not aware of 'The Season' so I will do some reading up on it in time for the next installment. So, in short, I am getting seriously aroused, entertained and educated all at the same time. Dr beulahthemick; Well, Pixie, I've just binged on your historical stories and to me as a history lecturer, I'm impressed, both by the historical depth, but just how sexy they are (had to sit on a towel, to be honest). I will admit that the 18th-19th century stories had me a bit lost history wise (not my period), but I just loved them. Whew!!!! That was erotica at its finest. The "Lady P" and "Beccy" pairing was perfect. Their stolen moments of Sapphic pleasure provided a nice juxtaposition to the darker elements of the story. Of course the cliffhanger ending has left me rather concerned for our two heroine's safety. I'm now fully invested in seeing how the ladies contribute to the downfall of the fascists. On a side note (and this isn't a negative critique of previous works), I feel that Pixiehoff is still making strides as an author. Considering how amazing her previous works have been, that is really saying something. 🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿
