The fuck session ending, the four sat at table for a drink. Linda opened the brown bag she'd brought, producing a bottle of red Lambrusco, and a dozen golden brown zeppola.
"Zeppola? You made zeppola? Holy fuck, you really have become an Italian! What's in 'em?" Lori smiled.
"A surprise," Linda said.
Lori took a huge bite, "Omigod, anchovy! I haven't had this for years! Delicious!" She eagerly wolfed down the whole zeppola with two more bites.
Onatu took a bite, "Damn, this is really good! Salty, fishy, just wonderful! And I love the texture! Mmm!"
"I wasn't sure how to make the dough, so we got some frozen dough at our store. I wrapped the anchovy and Jamar deep fried 'em." Linda said.
"Well, they're really yummy," Lori said, through a mouthful.
"Well, we gotta go. Listen, can you guys come over for supper tomorrow about five? We're having fettuccine," Linda said.
"Molte grazie! We'll be there with bells on!" Lori smiled.

Months later in Nubia, Lori, Onatu, Linda, Jamar, Mandarina and Mako walked naked on the soft warm sand at the shore of a great lake, surrounded by orange groves and vast fields of golden barley that rippled when the wind moved. The sun hung like a huge orange, high in the afternoon sky. They spread towels on the sand, dined on oranges and breadfruit, then made love under the brilliant yellow sky. As the sun came down with a burning glow, they ventured gingerly into the water, frolicked like children... then swam the orange lake cool...
