Prologue:

This is PT. 01 of a follow-up story of unexpectedly finding love. I enjoyed writing the first story in this category, so I wrote this second story for Christmas/New Year Season 2022/23. I hope my dedicated readers will also love this second story.

'Love is Where One Finds It II: PT. 01' is a Slowburn Lesbian Romance story. The storyline resembles 'The Move Home,' with a beautiful heterosexual romance component but no physical sex.

All descriptive sex in this story is lesbian, with young ladies aged 21 or older. Most explicit lesbian sex scenes feature a strong but loving woman as the definite TOP controlling the action.

Edited By Candy_Kane54 (CK), whom I am indebted to for encouragement and guidance. CK has edited all 23 Billyslate Lesbian stories.

If this is your type of Lesbian Romance-Love-Sex Story ... ENJOY!

I'm Jamiee (Jaim) Lou Anderson, currently living in a luxury rental condo in the western suburb of Nashville, TN. I share this beautiful three-bedroom condo with my twin sister, Amiee (Aim) Lou Anderson. We are 26-year-old identical monozygotic (MZ) twins and have been very close all our lives, as one expects with identical twins. But our personalities are contradictory, as they have been for as long as I can remember.

I am a talkative, outgoing person who has been active in various team sports since my early youth. As I grew older, my focus shifted to basketball as my favorite sport. I started as a forward on my junior high and high school girls' teams, followed by four years of college basketball at Vanderbilt University.

At Vandy, I was a four-year starter at power forward. My scoring and rebounding were in the low double figures, but it wasn't quite good enough to attract offers from any WNBA team. Yet, I was voted NCAA third-team All-American and first-team Southeastern All-Conference in my junior and senior years at Vandy. I graduated with a BS in Economics, making the Dean's list all eight semesters, with a cumulative 3.55 GPA.

I am currently in my final season of semi-pro basketball with the Nashville Music City Icons since the likelihood of my moving up to the WNBA is nonexistent. Over the years, several Music City Icon players have been invited to WNBA tryouts, but none ever inked a contract. So I am moving on to the next phase of my life, which, unfortunately, I do not know what that phase is.

Currently, commissions from selling condos, homes, and other real estate comprise my primary income. I have a new car provided by my employer, which is an essential part of my total reimbursement package. I am good at my job, but it is not satisfying, so I do not envision selling real estate for the rest of my life.

My twin sister, Amiee (Aim), has been introverted for as long as I can remember. She has an athletic build same as me but never played team sports. Amiee has run long distances since adolescence but never competed in track or cross country at the secondary or college level. She still runs six miles every weekday morning, except when it's raining.

Amiee studied Pharmacy at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC-Nashville), earning a Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM) Foundation Certificate. This Certificate qualifies her to work in an accelerated electronic healthcare environment.

Amiee currently works as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at the Nashville Main Public library, where her primary responsibility is selecting health-based books and videos for the city's largest public library and citywide system. She also presents health and wellness seminars at the library open to the greater Nashville community.

Although our personalities are direct opposites, we have always been extremely close, even at twenty-six years old. We lived together in college and are now living in this beautiful three-bedroom rental condo. I have a great deal on rent since my place is also a part of my real estate sales commission-based pay package, with the rent discounted by 50%.

So, the harsh reality of changing careers means I must buy a car, and Amiee and I must move or absorb a 50% increase in our monthly lease payment.

***

We've always called each other Jaim/Aim, with our few close friends also using these nicknames. We are tall girls standing nearly 6' on our bare feet. Each of us sports a pair of firm high-sitting C-cup breasts, with large nipples and nicely rounded bottoms. Friends also compliment us on our long, lean muscular legs being to die for. I must admit that we're a red hot volcanic flaming package X 2.

Our ethnic background is mixed, so we can aptly be labeled mutts. Our mom is mixed Caucasian and Black, while our dad is Native American and Black. Aim and I identify as Black since most likely 50% of our genetic derivation is Black American, although our skin color has a slightly tanned appearance.

We are uncertain of our dad's Native American tribe, but he claims Creek (Muscogee). At one time, more than seven Native American tribes actively roamed Middle Tennessee.

Aim and I are originally from a rural area north of Knoxville and south of the Kentucky State Line. We do not have any other siblings, so it's always been her and I against the world. My parent's marriage was mostly rocky and eventually fell apart. When we were fifteen, mom took off for Texas, where she had distant relatives. As long as I can recall, Dad has steadily hit the bottle, so Aim and I always leaned on each other. We were like roaring lionesses protecting each other so no one dared to touch us.

My Vandy Basketball scholarship was a blessing, especially when the coach realized Aim and I had practically raised ourselves as teenagers. I was allowed to live in the married student housing, so the two of us could live together at Vandy. Once my Vandy scholarship was finalized, Aim accepted an academic scholarship in Pharmacy at UTHSC-Nashville, completing the two-year HIIM program in eighteen months.

We loved Nashville as students, and I still hoped to make a WNBA team, so I stayed here after graduating. I made the local semi-pro team, Nashville Music City Icons, hoping to leap up to the WNBA. That dream is history, so I am currently sorting out my life, which does not include playing team basketball for the first time in fourteen years.

Enough said about my family and life background, although you will learn more details as my story continues.

EARLY SPRING 2022

Basketball season is winding down, so my evenings are pretty quiet. I have limited practices and games left for the season since our team didn't qualify for any post-season tournaments. The coach does not restrict our alcohol use since we are adults, but I usually don't drink within 48 hours of a game.

I am relaxing on the comfortable recliner when Aim comes home from a long tiring run. I greet her with, "Hey, Sis, can we talk for a few minutes after you cool down?"

Aim replies, "Sure, in ten minutes. Want a PepsiMax from the fridge?"

I laugh, "No, but I'll take an ice-cold brew?"

A few minutes later, Aim returns with my brew as I rock lazily in the recliner.

She asks, "What's up, Jaim? You seem buried deep in thought."

I discuss my dissatisfaction with life in general, wanting a fresh start. I am competent but unhappy working in real estate sales, where my basic survival depends heavily on commissions. I need to do something positive now that I am twenty-six and finishing my final season of organized basketball.

Aim responds, "Sis, you clearly state what you are tired of doing or unhappy with but don't venture to address what career for you may be uplifting or rewarding.

"Any thoughts on renting yourself out as a Baby Making Service," she finishes laughing crazily.

I jump Aim, and we horse around wrestling on the floor. I am always a little surprised when Aim opens up emotionally with me. She had never relaxed or been playful with Mom and Dad, possibly because of their ongoing marital problems.

Sis's a bit tired after her run and our horsing around on the floor. Something special is happening at the Main Public Library tomorrow, which is a big day for her. So she eats a quick sandwich, showers, and hits the sack early.

Before shutting her bedroom door, Aim asks, "Are you stopping for one after practice tomorrow? I think it will be a wicked day for me, so maybe I can join you somewhere later for a glass of wine?"

I am floored by Aim's question and stay in the living room pondering why she wants to go out after work tomorrow. I'm also stuck on her point that I need to decide what I want to accomplish in the next phase of my life. Eventually, I finish my beer and crash for the night.

***

We do a few drills, free throws, and some defense, but it's a lazy practice night. I text Aim, confirming she still wants to stop somewhere for a glass of wine tonight and the time. Two other players mention having a couple of drinks later, so I tell them to text me once they are sure.

While waiting for Aim's reply, an attractive and relatively tall lady with a pale complexion and long Jet Black (deep violet) hair walks toward me. She asks, "You are Jaimee Lou Anderson, aren't you?"

She must be close to my 5'11" height, as we are seeing eye to eye. "Yes, I am Jaimee Lou, but friends call me Jaim, so what's up with you?"

She says, "I'm Allison Rose Martel, and I'm thinking about moving to Nashville within the next 2 months. I have a personal reason for the move. I am interested in possibly starting a business since I plan on living here for two or three years. You are well known in Nashville as a former Vandy basketball star, so I think it may be beneficial for me to consider partnering with someone like you."

She continues, "I hold an MBA from Princeton, so I am competent in most aspects of business management. You are a known entity in Nashville and would be the public relations guru who keeps everyone happy. Look, a business search firm lists an eastside restaurant and lounge for sale a few miles from here, but it's not a prime location.

"Will you meet me there for drinks and dinner at 8:00 PM, my shout? We can comfortably discuss if the place is worth looking into further. I am eager to start or buy a business while living here, so I will seriously consider other local options for us to work together. Again, you are a known entity, so we can become profitable much quicker working together as a team."

She finishes, "I am Rose to my family and close friends, so please call me Rose as well."

I inwardly smile as I ponder the timing of her showing up, "Rose, your offer is interesting, certainly with you buying us a nice dinner. I am not sure if you are aware, but I have a twin sister, Amiee (Aim). Aim's personality is more reserved than mine, and I promised her a glass of wine tonight. Is it okay if she joins us for drinks, dinner, and our business discussion?"

Rose, "Of course, Jaim, I will be quite interested in hearing your and your sister's opinions on the restaurant."

We walk out of the practice gym, and I am stupefied as a stretched limo is waiting for Rose.

She smiles cutely, "See you in a couple of hours, Jaim!"

Two hours later, Aim and I casually stroll into one of the older, worn-down eastside eateries, where Rose awaits us at the bar. I notice Aim slightly stiffen as we pass a loud group of guys standing at a lounge table, but I do not think much about it since Aim rarely goes out socially.

I introduce Aim when Rose quickly interrupts, "Jaim, I need to be honest since you saw the limo waiting for me. My family is quite wealthy from various types of businesses. I am emotionally close to my dad, the CEO of a large business consortium. He will financially back my business purchase with a three-year interest-free loan if needed.

"My mom died of breast cancer when I was very young, so the only mom I know is a black lady originally from the greater Nashville area. I was constantly with her from age 4 to 18 when I started my sophomore year at Wellesley College. Most people did not realize how emotionally attached I was to her, thinking she was only my nanny or governess."

Rose weeps, "I was not yet four when my mom died. I loved her, of course, but I don't remember many early life details as a four-year-old. The only real mom I had for fifteen years was this black lady. I loved her from the first moment she interviewed with daddy, and I hardly let her out of my sight for almost fifteen years. She regularly took me on vacations, bringing me to Nashville (Nunnelly) several times.

"I need to keep her name confidential for now but will completely level with you when we agree to start a business venture together. She is almost sixty, and I want to spend quality time with her while she's still active. She does not want to leave the greater Nashville area, thus my reason for moving here for a few years."

Aim breathlessly, "Wow, Rose, you are very sweet in honoring your special mom. If you and my sister Jaim start a business together, I want to meet her as soon as you move to Nashville."

Before Rose can reply, Aim stiffens again, saying, "Oh Hell No! Not Him!"

I am stunned and speechless because my sister never swears. She cringes, moving closer to me for protection. As I look up, I see a tall, smiling, handsome black man quietly approach us.

He looks hard at Aim and then curiously my way. Looking back at Aim, he says, "You are Ms. Aimee Anderson from the Public Library Program meeting today. You may remember me. I am Rollin Allan Wenton, the new High School JV Girls' Basketball Coach.

"I want to be sure our young players eat well and live healthy lives. So I asked the Head Librarian, Ms. McAllister, for permission to bring the JV team to Ms. Anderson's section for a Health and Wellness presentation.

"The young girls were very impressed with Ms. Anderson's healthy living knowledge. So they asked me to request she visit our high school and speak at a special girls' assembly. I was very moved by my JV Girls' extremely positive response to your talk since most are ages 14 and 15.

"One fifteen-year-old shyly tells me the girls relate to you as someone they can trust as a good role model.

"A confident fourteen-year-old stated firmly, I am going live a healthy life, so I can be as pretty as Ms. Anderson. The girls have never responded that emotionally to any other team presentation, so I came over to say thanks!"

My sister is very nervous, "Please call me Aim, the same as my sister and most friends." She introduces Rose and me, blushing cutely.

The young JV coach replies, "I am Rollin to most friends; it's nice seeing you here, Aim, since I am very new to Ashville. I played basketball at Duke University for four years and then completed my MBA at the Duke Fuqua Business School. I have been in sales for three years and felt the need for a career change. A friend of the Duke Women's basketball team coach suggested I take this two-year interim JV girls coaching job since I work well with young kids."

Rollin adds, "Please excuse my barging in on your conversation. I just had to greet Aim and relay how my JV girls' basketball team really enjoyed you hosting us today."

Rose steps in, "Jaim and I are discussing a possible business venture tonight, with Aim also joining us. Let's exchange contacts, and I will take the four of us out for a nice dinner Friday night. I plan to move here in the next one or two months, so it'll be nice having local friends."

Aim quickly, "No Way, Rose! Jaim and I are inviting you and Rollin to our place for dinner Friday night. We will do a Country Style Pork BBQ and Seafood Grill if that's okay with everyone?"

Rose and Rollin exclaim this is a spectacular idea. Rollin rejoins the other school sports administrators and coaches he came to the lounge with.

We three ladies continue our conversation but are disillusioned with the place. It is a bit more run-down than Rose anticipated from her quick search, and I am unimpressed with the clientele. Many of the guys are shoddily dressed, loud, and obnoxious. We stay a while longer, then Aim and I head home to finalize our Friday night dinner plans.

MEMORIES AND PLANS - ROSE POV

I return to my hotel, knowing this restaurant deal is kaput. I am so disappointed since Jaim will be an excellent business partner. Oh well, that's life, and I'll eventually need to speak with Dad. I decide to hang around Nashville for a few more days. I will spend some extra time with mom Onna May since she is my only true mother, and I love her dearly.

Dad tried caring for me on his own for a few months after Mom's death from breast cancer. I was not yet four when my Mom (Antionette) died, so memories of her are faint. She immigrated to the USA from Portugal on a student visa and met my dad, who was in big business. They dated for two years and then married, and I was born two years later. My mom did not have any relatives in the USA, so after she died, it was just Dad and I living alone for a few months.

My dad (Felix Alexis Martel) was at a loss in caring for an active, almost four-year-old like me. Then a longtime business associate suggests he hire a qualified nanny or governess-type person to help him. Dad feels his friend's suggestion is a great idea, so he contacts an agency specializing in this type of employment. But he is disappointed with the first two applicants the agency sent for interviews.

***

Finally, Mrs. Onna May Jones arrives late one morning, and everything in my life suddenly majestically shifts. She is a soft-spoken petite black lady from Middle Tennessee who graduated from college with a BS in Education from Tennessee State University (TSU). Onna May is a recent widow and does not intend to sign a new contract at the preschool where she teaches in a Montessori-style setting.

She plans on returning to her roots in greater Nashville, TN (Nunnelly) after the winter term finishes in June. But she also halfheartedly accepts agency interviews for governess-type positions since there are four months left on her current teaching contract. Someone at the agency is convinced Onna May is perfect for my dad's needs. So she relents and then comes for an interview three months before my fourth birthday.

Dad is chatting comfortably with Onna May, quite impressed by her demeanor. I hear them laughing and talking, so I quietly peek around the corner at them. My first step into the living room is love at first sight as I spy Onna May talking with Daddy.

For some unknown reason, I madly run over to the sofa, flinging myself into Onna May's lap. She hugs me warmly and coos, "What is my pretty little girl's name?"

I happily answer, "I am Rose, and who are you, pretty lady? Are you gonna be my new teacher and make me smart?"

Onna May slightly raises her eyes, "You are already smart, Rose, but I will be your new teacher if you want me to!"

"Yes! Yes!" I explode, planting sweet little kisses all over Onna May's cheeks.

Dad hires her instantly and moves Onna May into our upstairs GBR Suite. She lives with us while finishing her contract, teaching and loving me until I leave for university. Mom Onna May also comes with me to Wellesley College as a Fresher, staying there for a year. She then moves back home to the Middle Tennessee area, where I still visit her once or twice a year, depending on my school or work schedule.

I realize mom Onna May is now growing older, and I want to spend the next two or three years close to her while she is still active. So, I convince my dad to let me investigate buying this Eastside Nashville restaurant. However, after physically seeing the place, I am 100% certain it's a no-go.

I need to develop a different business venture that will allow me to live in the Nashville area for a few years. Then I must bring Dad on board to approve and finance my new or revised business plan.
