Author's Note: This is the third installment of this series, but it's actually the direct sequel to Mommy Fetish Chronicles 1. Mommy Fetish Chronicles 2 was the prequel, which showed Bailey's past. Now, we are back to the present, where Ashley is searching for the woman who once dated her dad and spanked her in front of all her friends before disappearing from both of their lives.

Part 3 has been split into two parts. The second half will be posted at a later time. I have labeled this as Part 3.1. It contains 4 chapters. I really hope you enjoy the journey! This is definitely the most emotional portion of the three parts!

Finding Bailey

Chapter 1

I wish I could sum up the last four years of my life in just a couple words, but I can't. I guess I could just say it was complicated, but that doesn't even begin to describe it.

As far as my education and my career, things really couldn't have gone much better. I kind of got my act together and worked my way to a strong finish for my Bachelor's Degree. After that, I worked a few jobs before ultimately accepting a position at a research lab while also continuing my Master's Degree online.

You could say things had worked out pretty well for me, but yet, part of me still felt incomplete. That's because... if it weren't for one person... I don't know if I would have ever gotten my act together. And this person... she had been missing from my life for a few years now.

She was never actually my mom. She wasn't even my stepmom because she and my dad never went through with their engagement. Somehow though, I still had this desire deep inside to make her proud.

Bailey was my age, in fact, just a bit younger. But in such a short amount of time, she brought a new perspective to my life. I was such a spoiled brat, and I didn't even know it. She not only put me in my place by acting like a mother, but she also showed me the true meaning of hard work.

Without a single complaint, Bailey worked at Hooters to provide for herself, and for me when she could. I didn't understand that life could just be that way at times, and I'm sure she complained from time to time, but to me, I saw an upstanding woman who made more of herself despite life giving her a bad hand.

I didn't know what happened to Bailey, unfortunately. She and my dad broke up, and then she left without a trace. Things happen, and I get that now, but I wish I could have checked on her or at least said goodbye. Most importantly, I wish I could have just told her,

"Thank you."

One afternoon, the research group I worked with had a late meeting after a guest speaker came into our clinic. He went over the details of a new type of procedure, and it was up to our group to do some field analysis on it.

Since the speaker kept us pretty late, we decided to discuss some of the matters of our meeting over dinner. Eating together was something that was pretty common amongst research groups so that they could talk about their projects, even during their breaks.

Seeing that I was one of the few females, I usually didn't get much say in where we went to eat. It didn't really matter to me to be quite honest. However, on this day, I would have liked to have been able to sway my male partners from making the decision.

The boys decided on going to Hooters, which wouldn't have been a big deal to me if it hadn't been for the significance that restaurant played in my life. I had given up on ever seeing Bailey again, so going to the chain that she used to work at wasn't easy.

Once we got inside, I couldn't help but let my eyes wander while the others discussed work. We were hours away from my hometown, and yet, I couldn't help but wish she would appear wearing her old uniform.

Things only got worse when the food came out. Those Hooters wings reminded me of that time I acted so childishly before she put me in my place.

It was a humbling trip down memory lane. Now that I was older, I realized the way she spanked me wasn't as embarrassing as the way I acted. However, these were memories that brought a blush to my face, so I quickly tried to get my mind back on track.

A few moments later, however, I'd find myself staring off into the distance once again. My eyes eventually landed on a woman with long blonde hair. I swear, from behind she looked almost exactly like Bailey.

I need to stop doing this, I thought to myself, shaking my head once again. It's perfectly fine to think about her during this circumstance, but I can't imagine other people as her. Bailey's gone... and she's never walking back into my life.

Then suddenly, as the pretty woman with the long blonde hair turned her head, my eyes got big and my heart almost pounded out of my chest. It's her! I screamed in my head as I watched the blonde wiping off a table in her section. Years have passed so we both look a little different, but it's her... It's Bailey.

Without an explanation, I got up to my feet and made a beeline towards her. The others asked where I was going, but my body was in autopilot. There was nothing that was going to keep me from her after all these years.

My heart was pounding, and I had tunnel vision. My eyes were locked onto her as I moved in quickly. In that moment, nothing else mattered to me.

I caught her as she was turning around. Bailey almost jumped out of her shoes when she saw me. Her eyes were big, like she had seen a ghost. I guess she never expected to run into me either, seeing as we were both so far away from where we originally met.

We stood there in silence. My heart was pounding, and she was shaking. Then, after a few seconds went by, I pointed at myself. "Bailey... It's me, Ashley!"

"Ashley! What are you doing here?!" she responded, still looking nervous for some reason.

Pointing back at my table, I explained, "I started working with this research department and some of them wanted to grab a bite here." Then, trying to move on to what was really important, I shook my head and continued, "I've been looking for you, Bailey... How are you?"

"I'm fine," she responded coldly, obviously not wanting to talk to me. "I'm just working."

"Yeah, but you left without a trace... and you never returned any of my calls..."

"Your dad and I broke up," she quickly said, shrugging her shoulders. "What more did you want from me?"

I could tell she was defensive, but I didn't know what was wrong. Letting out a little sigh, I spoke with a soft voice and explained, "I just wanted to make sure you were okay..."

"I'm fine. Everything is fine. I can take care of myself."

"Yeah, but Bailey..."

"I need to get back to work now," she interrupted, using that stern mother voice she used to use with me. "I'm really busy and it's rude to talk with customers that aren't in my section. Please, just leave me alone."

The blonde woman I used to call Mommy walked past me without another word. Not that I was trying to look down on her or anything, but there was only one customer in her section, so I was sure she wasn't that busy. She just didn't want to talk to me for some reason, and that was fine...

I took the hint, and I went back to my table. The others asked if I knew her, but I just told them, "I used to, but it's complicated."

We all eventually finished our meals as well as our meeting. However, while everyone else was leaving, I decided to tend to some unfinished business.

Bailey clearly did not want to speak to me. I totally understood that with the way I kind of ambushed her. But eventually, she was going to have to talk to me, because she couldn't run away forever.

After everyone made their way out, I snuck back in an attempt to learn more about the mysterious blonde. Noticing that the bartender wasn't tending to anyone in the moment, I walked over to her and asked if she knew when the next time Bailey would be working.

Unfortunately for me, not only did the bartender not know Bailey's schedule, she barely knew anything about her at all. The bartender had only been working there for a couple months, and in that short time, Bailey had never spoken to her.

I then tried my luck with the hostess at the front. She looked pretty young, so I was hoping she was bubbly enough to have attempted to talk to Bailey at some point during her time there.

When I asked the young woman if she knew Bailey, she immediately made a face. And although she just answered, "Not really," I decided to ask more questions.

"Do you know which shifts she regularly works? I'm trying to figure out when a good time to visit her would be."

"I do know her schedule pretty well," the hostess answered, not looking completely comfortable. "But we're actually not supposed to be giving out people's schedules in case of stalkers."

Although it was a perfectly good excuse not to give out someone's information, I really wasn't in a position to leave empty-handed. Resorting to desperate measures, I opened up my wallet and pulled out a five-dollar bill. "Will this change your mind?"

The girl looked at me like I was dumb for a second, but eventually she grabbed the money and put it in her pocket. "Bailey works a lot of morning shifts, but I think you could probably see her at any time tomorrow, since she's working a double."

"Thank you very much," I said, before taking a step towards the exit. However, realizing that my little plan had actually worked, I re-approached the girl and pulled out some more money. "So, what will a twenty get me?"

The girl looked down at the bill in my hand with big eyes. "What do you want to know?"

"Just anything about her, really," I explained. "I haven't seen her in so long. I mostly just want to make sure she's okay."

"I just heard that she moved around a few times, working at different Hooters. She started working here a few months ago but really hasn't talked to anyone."

"Do you know why she stays to herself? She never seemed to have trouble making friends in the past."

"I'm not really sure," the young hostess answered, shrugging her shoulders. "But her lack of enthusiasm definitely affects her work. You're the only one that's asked about her in a while. No one ever wants to sit in her section. She usually just works the morning shift, which is way less busy, but because a couple of girls quit, she's been able to pick up some extra shifts in the evenings."

"I just can't imagine a world where a bunch of guys don't want to sit in her section," I reacted, thinking back to how fun and confident she used to be. "Even if she's not talkative anymore, she's still a very pretty woman."

"Yeah, she's pretty for an older woman," the hostess said with a little smirk. "But a lot of customers prefer younger women in their prime."

"Older?" I asked, raising my eyebrows. "She's like... twenty-four..."

"Yeah, that's old for a Hooters waitress," said the girl that was probably eighteen at the time.

Still trying to wrap my mind around the hostess's way of thinking, I continued the unimportant conversation with her. "I guess for a Hooters waitress she might be a bit older... but she's not an older woman... I mean, I'm twenty-five... Do you think I'm old?"

The girl kind of looked away from me for a second before shrugging her shoulders again. Not that it mattered or anything, but her silence spoke volumes to me.

"You're lucky I don't take my twenty back," I said in a dry tone. She kind of chuckled at me, but I still let her keep the money. It was the information that was important in that moment, not my pride.

With Bailey re-appearing in my life again, and a plan developing in my head, I turned back towards the dining room and found her with my eyes before declaring, "I'll be back, Bailey...

...and don't you run away from me this time."

To be continued.

Chapter 2

I returned the next evening after a long day of work. It wasn't that I had a difficult day or anything; my mind was just anxious, knowing I had another shot at seeing Bailey.

The mystery woman who had walked out of my life just as quickly as she walked in it had appeared again. However, judging by the fact that we had both moved hours away from our hometown, I'm sure she was just as shocked to see me as I was to see her.

It couldn't have been more obvious by that look in her eyes. Bailey was always pretty confident... and considering our... interesting past... I doubt she'd ever be intimidated by me.

All I could gather was that something had happened and she didn't want to talk about it. However, knowing that something was going on with her, I just wanted an opportunity to help her. I guess that's why I found myself at her restaurant again.

Hoping to appear more approachable this time, I changed out of my professional attire and wore a big gray T-shirt. It was one of my oversized tees that I liked to wear at home. I just wore black skinny jeans with it instead of my normal shorts.

As I was walking in, I was completely aware that I might end up disappointed again. There was a good probability that Bailey would be just as cold as she was the previous day. It was also likely that she might run away again, now that I knew where she worked.

With all that in mind, I still took my shot, because she was that important to me. At the end of the day, it really wasn't about me, anyway. This was about the woman who played a vital role in my life, and it was my turn to be there for her.

As I walked through the door, my eyes quickly scanned the room until I found her. Much like the previous day, her section was pretty empty, so what the hostess has told me now seemed all the more valid.

There was a different hostess that day and even she looked surprised when I told her I wanted to sit in Bailey's section. "Usually, no one requests that older woman," she said, looking so annoyingly innocent.

"I'm not going to respond to that," I said, rolling my eyes. There was no point in getting into a discussion with another one of the teeny-boppers.

As Bailey stepped into the back, I randomly picked one of her smaller tables and took a seat. I then waited patiently while my heart pounded inside my chest.

When the mysterious blonde came back out, she almost dropped the drinks in her hands when she saw me. "Ashley... you're here again... Why?"

"I wanted to see you," I hesitantly responded, trying not to look nervous. "You told me to leave yesterday because I was interfering with your section. You also didn't seem like you wanted to talk to me. I wanted to see if you felt any better today."

Rolling her eyes, she asked, "So, is this what you're going to do? You're just going to follow me around until I'm forced to give you answers?"

Somehow, I could feel her pain as I looked deep into her eyes. With a soft voice, I responded, "That's not what I'm trying to do. You can reject me if you want, but I, at least, want to try to talk to you again."

"And why is that?"

I shrugged my shoulders, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Because I care about you..." I answered, looking down.

My eyes eventually went back up, and I noticed her staring at me with her hands on her hips. Luckily, I must have struck a chord with her because she replied, "Fine... but you can't just sit in my section; you have to order something."

I was a little taken aback by the sudden opportunity. After gathering myself, I asked, "Do you guys have Moscow Mules?"

"Yes, we do..." she answered, still appearing unpleased that I was in her presence. But eventually, with the same demeanor, she further explained, "We have a new strawberry flavored mule... Did you want that or just the regular one?"

"The strawberry one sounds good..." I answered, nodding my head.

Bailey just rolled her eyes as she walked away. Judging by the way she offered a suggestion, I figured she was annoyed that we had made some progress. It wasn't much... but it was a sign that she still cared about me.

I sat there, tapping my fingers on the table, as I waited for her to return. There were a million thoughts running through my mind, and I was about as nervous as I had ever been, but I kept telling myself, "Be brave, Ashley."

Although Bailey was gone for a couple minutes, I couldn't help but smile when I saw her approaching my table with my drink in hand. Memories came flooding back, reminding me of how beautiful her tight body was that night I shared a bed with her. And somehow on this day, she looked just as breathtaking in her tight white tank top and her little orange shorts as she did in her sexy pajamas.

"So what do you want?" she asked, interrupting my thoughts as she placed the drink on my table.

"I just wanted to see if you were doing okay. I thought about you a lot over the last few years. I never thought I'd see you again."

"Well, I'm fine. I told you that yesterday, so the mystery is over."

Blushing while I took a sip of my strawberry drink, I continued, "I also wanted to tell you that I missed you... I know we got off to a bad start... that was my fault... but I was really looking forward to seeing you again during summer break."

Bailey's face changed a few times, almost as if she were contemplating her emotions. Eventually, she settled on being suspicious, and she asked, "Why would you want to see me? I thought you disliked me because I dated your dad."

"Bailey... I'm over that," I explained with a tender voice. "I'm sorry for the way I acted in the beginning. It was just a lot for me at the time. But in the end, we got along so well. I really, really enjoyed spending time with you."

This time, Bailey couldn't hide her smile from me. It only showed for a split second, but it was enough to make my heart jump, knowing I made her happy, even if it was just for a moment.

"That's mature of you," she conceded before slowly regaining whatever fake attitude she had with me. "So, I'm guessing you finished your degree based on that little group you were with yesterday."

"I did... I finished my bachelor's in biology and now I work for a research clinic."

"Is that why you showed up? To brag about how well your life is going while I'm still just a Hooters waitress?"

"No... I don't look down on you for your job. If anything, I owe you a huge thank you for all my success. I really admired that you were such a hard-working waitress. And I also don't think I would have gotten my act together if it wasn't for you."

Folding her arms, she stared deeply into my eyes before asking, "Are you being serious right now?"

"Of course I am, Bailey," I answered in a sweet tone. "I know you never actually became my stepmom, but I still want to make you proud. Maybe... you were the mother figure I needed."

"How so?"

"You made me realize what a spoiled brat I was," I started, getting red in the face as more humbling memories came back to me. "You... uh... you put me in my place a few times... when you... Well... you remember what happened."

Suddenly, I wasn't the only one blushing anymore. I guess Bailey was a bit surprised that I would bring up the unmentionable things she did to me.

"Even Tara got her act together," I continued, making Bailey's eyes grow even bigger.

"Tara?"

"Yeah, you remember my friend, right? We had those.... interesting nights together..."

Scratching her head, Bailey looked away for a second before asking, "You're not mad at me about... that stuff... are you?"

"Of course not," I answered, trying to hide my embarrassment. "You had your own unique way of handling us. I was a bit confused... and humiliated... at the time... but the results have been great... so maybe you're a genius."

"Well, I'm glad things worked out for you and Tara," Bailey started, letting out a little sigh. "To be quite honest, things haven't worked out so well in my life, so I wouldn't consider myself a genius."
