A few years later I saw an article in a business magazine about Scott. It seems he eventually sold much of his stock, retired from the CEO position and moved into a beautiful home in Belize. He had found and married the woman who had been his high school sweetheart and they had two beautiful children. In their picture they both wore very satisfied smiles.
