"Oh..." I groaned as she drained the last of it from me. "Cassie I know how much you want a baby but..."

"Shhhh..." she said stopping me with a hand over my lips. "I do want to have children with you Rick but I can wait for now. Just make sure you're ready to get me pregnant the day we tell everyone about our marriage," she said smiling at me.

"Well as long as we can practice everyday," I said smirking right back.

"Everyday huh?" she said kissing me on the forehead. "Alright but only because I love you so much."

"I hope I never stop feeling that tingle inside when you call me your husband," I said as she climbed off to curl up next me. "My beautiful wife," I said as I bushed her hair back from her face.

"My handsome husband," she said laying her hand on my chest as we grinned at each other. We shared a tender kiss as our love for each other filled us. "I think I'm ready for our wedding dinner now," she said when she put her head down on the pillow next to me.

"Okay sweetie just give me a few minutes here," I said making her smile at me.

"Is there a hotel menu we can look at?" she asked.

"We don't need a menu," I said.

"You've got another surprise for me," she said guessing correctly as I nodded. "Oh Rick you're making me feel so guilty."

"I already warned you that I could give you whatever I wanted once we were married. Besides no bride should feel guilty on her wedding day," I said kissing her. "You wait right here and I'll have them bring it up for us." I went out of the bedroom and called down to have them bring up our special dinner and wedding cake. I could hear the water running in the bathroom and knew she was freshening up for dinner. Back in the bedroom I threw on one of the complimentary robes to answer the door. The food arrived a short time later and I opened the door to let him push the cart inside. He gave me a strange look but I couldn't have been the first guy he'd seen get lucky staying in this room. Before Cassie came back out I had time to light candles and pour champagne for us. I heard her come into the room and turned to see her with a towel around her otherwise wet naked body and her hair still pinned up. She let her hair down and shook it out then looked at me and started laughing.

"You didn't answer the door like that did you?" she asked when she finally stopped laughing at me.

"Yeah I did... the guy gave me strange looks too. Did I put on a woman's robe or something?" I asked.

"No," she said giggling and sauntering towards me in her bath towel. "But this belongs to a woman," she said tugging at the garter which was still around my neck and smiling at me before she kissed me. I let her pull it over my head and drop it on the floor. "Dinner smells great," she said. "What did you get us?"

"I got you your favorite," I said smiling at her.

"What do you mean?" she asked. Cassie really didn't have a favorite meal she'd order everywhere we went, but she did at some restaurants.

"I got you butternut squash soup for an appetizer and rack of lamb with mint sauce for the main course," I said.

"That's what I get at my favorite place to eat. They make it here too?" she asked.

"No. I went by this morning and ordered it from the restaurant," I said.

"You didn't need to go through that trouble for me," she said.

"What trouble? All I had to do was stop in to order it and ask them to deliver it here for us. If we were going to go out for dinner right now and you could go anywhere and have anything what would it be?" I asked.

"Well first I'd tell you to take me wherever you wanted to go. Then you'd drive us to my favorite restaurant anyway and I'd get butternut squash soup and rack of lamb," she said smiling at me.

"We should eat before it gets cold," I said.

"Not yet," she said pulling my lips to hers for a lingering kiss. "Okay now we can eat."

We ate just like we were, with me in the robe and her wearing just the towel. During dinner we talked about the rest of our week leading up to our vacation. Cassie gave me a warm smile when I told her I'd brought an overnight bag with her work clothes for her so I could drop her off at work in the morning without going home first. She told me she felt horrible over having to work the day after our wedding and blushed when I said it would give me a chance to surprise her all week.

After dinner I gave her the choice of wedding cake or our first dance as husband and wife. She decided on the cake first and started to cry when she saw what they had created from her little sketch. We held the knife together and carved out a nice big piece that we then cut in two. I held one half to her lips as she nibbled at it, licking her lips from the rich taste. Opening my mouth wide I waited for her to feed me a piece. I took a big bite but she kept pushing it into my face until it was smashed all over my lips. Laughing I licked it from her fingers and pulled her lips to mine for a kiss where I spread the messy cake over her face too. Holding my piece cocked and ready to push it into her face, I couldn't bring myself to risk ruining her beautiful hair. Taking advantage of my hesitation she grabbed it from me and smashed it into my face with a laugh and ate the remains off my face.

Cassie had some traces of it around her lips but my hair and face were a complete mess. With a few more laughter laced kisses she sent me off to get cleaned up as she put away the rest of the cake for later. I decided to take a quick shower before our first dance and made sure to wash my sticky hair well. When I was done I went to look for her with a towel around my waist and found her wearing her wedding dress again. She didn't even need to ask me to put my tuxedo back on and a few minutes later I joined her in the front room ready to share the first dance of the rest of our life together as husband and wife.

"You look the same as you did at the wedding," I said marveling at her incomparable beauty.

"So do you except for the wet hair," she said running her fingers through it before we kissed. "I found the CD player in my overnight bag," she added with a smile.

"You did?" I said trying to look innocent.

"Yes I did. Should I even ask what song your brought for our first dance?" she asked. "I love you Dickie, I love everything about you and I'll never stop loving you," she said when I shrugged and smiled.

Setting our slow Hip song to repeat we danced long into the night. After an hour she slipped off her uncomfortable heels and I kicked off my shoes so I wouldn't tower over her or step on her feet. There was no thought of stopping yet though. I held her in my arms telling her I loved her and how beautiful she looked countless times. Sometimes she smiled gazing into my eyes as the song played though. There were other times when we kissed so much it was barely dancing at all. I let her cry onto my shoulder when thoughts of the problems we still faced overwhelmed her. Telling her family was going to be extremely hard but I could feel her draw strength from my embrace. Cassie knew that whatever she faced her husband would be at her side ready to enjoy the good times together and support her though the bad times.

***

That's it for another chapter. The next one will pick up from here and cover their trip to LA. There are plenty more chapters to come yet for those that have enjoyed the story thus far.

I know the decision by Cassie to elope with Rick is extremely out of character for her and I tired to show how much she struggled with the choice. It illustrates how the love between her and Rick changed both of them. In the end, she chose her love for Rick over the feelings of friends and family should they ever learn the truth.

Great story but...

I gave it a 5 but with the time stamps on the story it looks a little rushed. Lots of incorrect words and could have used some proof reading.

Like the story though and will keep reading.

My 2 cents

Too bad I can only give this 5 stars! Another great chapter. I agree that Cassie will have a hard time with her father. That will be fun to read. I would think Rick's family will be more happy for them. You do know how to use the english language and that makes me enjoy this story all the better. I am looking forward to reading the next installment. Thanks for your time and imagination.
