Its a weird one, especially Amy as character. Her life and personality was formed by the actions of her father. A person she hates and the source of her trust issues. His crime was cheating. Although over the course of the story it comes to light that it wasnt the cheating that was a problem, just that he didnt tell her mother. But her mother knew in the end so it should have been alright? Amy herself has no problem with Ross fucking other women. She herself doesnt believe in monogamy. She also has no problem with other people cheating or even being involved in that, like with Lara. She would have been gladly the 'partner' with whom Lara would cheat. So yeah, it feels like her 'hate' is a bit irrational.

Making Lara an equal partner was the correct move, but he still should have married Amy anyway since they were together first.

I had to suspend a HUGE amount of belief reading this story. Once I read the background for Amy that you created, it was extremely difficult for me to believe in her fetish for wanting Ross to sleep around. My first wife's father was a philanderer just like Amy's. Consequently she went in the opposite direction demanding faithfulness from me. I was okay with that, but it still wasn't good enough for her. She began to repeatedly accuse me of cheating on her with every attractive female in our vicinity in spite of the fact that she knew my whereabouts 24/7. I was completely faithful to her for many years and took that abuse. But I finally reached a breaking point because of two factors. First and foremost, if I'm already being punished for a crime that I never committed, I might as well go ahead and have my fun. Secondly and probably more importantly, I wanted to start my family with her at 25 years old. But she refused to get off of the pill and get pregnant. I had let her know before I ever proposed that I wanted at least 3 kids, but she lied to me about wanting kids herself. Bottom line is that I am fairly certain that a daughter who is impacted heavily by her father's cheating such as Amy was would NEVER share much less be a fetishist about it. 🤔 Quite the opposite in fact.
