You either did a poor job of indicating there was more to come or you did a poor job of telling your story.

I liked it.. Ignore the dipshits who do not want anything unexpected. Sometimes a unresolved mysterious... something... is a nice change of pace.

To me this has the feeling of a dream. It makes no sense, but it was kinda cool while it happened.
