Jack could feel the tears welling up in his eyes. He refused to cry in front of Luke, he didn't want him to know how disappointed he was.
"I'm so sorry Luke, I really am" and with that the tears began, Jack choking out "I'll see you Monday."

But to be fair Luke didn’t say anything when Reve suggested that he use his money to take Jack out on a date and exclaimed that “chivalry is not dead “ when Jack opened his car door. MarcLuciFer12 months agoOmg, I did not see that coming AT ALL!!!! I totally read Luke the wrong way as well. My heart is aching so much for Jack right now. I'm even feeling bad for Theo and Olive, as this may impact their getting together again. After all Jack when through, now to have this happen, it'll definitely worsen his already low self-esteem. I can't imagine how he'll be able to face Luke at work. Chapter #2 was five more *s for this great and now intense story.
