All Comments on 'Schrödinger's Unicorn'

I'm slightly aroused, but mostly confused. I think the mayor is a 'she', but in a few sentences, the mayor was a 'he'. There were three people in the room, but the mayor's husband didn't do anything except a few lines at the end. If this is a continuation of another story, maybe that would help me understand what the heck is going on.
