Punctuation can break a story.
What is with the colons? Misused nearly every time!
Please research punctuation in the English language.
I am cutting you a break and assuming you are NOT a native English speaker.
A colon can be used before a LIST. I put the colon in...then I'm LISTING a series of actions. It's been used that way before.
Introducing a list
The colon is used to introduce a list of items.
Example
The bookstore specializes in three subjects: art, architecture, and graphic design.
Do not, however, use a colon when the listed items are incorporated into the flow of the sentence.
