Neat story. The technical details are a bit off, though. For 2.5 minutes of freefall time you'd have to start way up at 25k feet or so, which would be really cold. And 50 jumps makes you a novice; I think 500-1000 is more like what you'd need to pull off this stunt. I know I would find it a challenge (at 700 jumps).

Haha. I love this comment. I wondered if it would be glaringly obvious that I’d never sky dived before and that my research for this story involved googling how long it would take to fall for 2.5 minutes. Thanks for setting the record straight.
