Sorry, first person omniscient again (or I guess, first). I just can't immerse myself in the heart and mind of someone who essentially reads minds, if that is not part of the plot. It feels like the other person must have debriefing the narrator, detailing every moment and what they were thinking. It just feels so clinky to me.

I want to like your work. Keep on keeping on. You don't owe me anything different, and you may completely disagree. I just offer my perspective as an avid reader for over 50 years.
