Amazing ... an enormously insightful story ... study of a woman at a 'point' in her life. ... in her relationship with her man.
... keep up the good work.
GENERAL NOTE: I won’t be replying to comments as I normally do with this story. But I will read them all. I hope that’s OK. Normal service will be resumed with the next one, which is rather less serious. Emily
Ninth contribution — interesting. Captured and shared physically and emotionally. Felt and will bookmark to feel again. Must have been a challenge to write or maybe it simply poured out.
I'm guessing elective double mastectomy because she's at high risk of cancer? Brca or something like that?
Wow, pretty deep and manages to get its point across very well. AND all in 750. Easy 5 stars.
Some people write stories. Some people write feelings. And then there are those like you who do both, and do it well.
It was courageous of you to take on the writing of such a weighty and personal topic. 🌹 ❤️ It was emotional for me to read and absorb it.
I said that I wouldn’t comment further on this, but I was moved to do so by a feedback message. I won’t divulge too much, but the sender is involved with multiple people in the same situation as the FMC. Their words of support made me feel it was worthwhile trying to tell this rather difficult story. Emily
Beautiful piece and I'm so looking forward to get the time to read others.
