Thoroughly enjoyed these three chapters and looking forward to # 4

Ok, so I’m gonna nitpick. But I think it’s somewhat important when writing a character to try and do them justice. Which means following their character traits and their speech patterns. I certainly wouldn’t want to read a Harry Potter fanfic and see Harry say “totally tubular” or something. It would be weird and completely pull me out of the story. Saying that, it might not seem important but as I began to read Lt. Cmdr. Data’s first line, I see he says “don’t”. Does anyone see the problem? Data doesn’t use contractions. It’s actually integral to several episode plot lines (Datalore).

Anyway, nitpicking over.
