This was lovely! I especially loved this sentence: "Kisses so long overdue that I ache with them."

Midway through I thought you might've gone for one where it's not revealed from whose perspective the story is, and that might have been interesting. This is close to it as it is.

Anyway, well done for 750 words :-)
