"I can get an electronics scanner that we use for security from the office," Julia offered.

"I think we need to set a date," Pia said with excitement. "I can't wait to stick it to them.

While you have been doing your P.I. work, I've been getting some advice from my college roommate who became a lawyer. I got the bones of a separation agreement and divorce papers. We should be able to get them to sign these during the evening.

We should also plan to move all money out of joint bank accounts, investment accounts, and cancel all credit cards. I would suggest we all set up new bank accounts and do the transfer on the day of our confrontation."

"You are a badass, Pia," I said.

"What you don't know, is that my parents were going to help us buy a house," Pia said. "If it had gone on for another month, George would have gotten half of it. I'm still going ahead with the purchase, but it will just be mine."

"I've been thinking of a date and think we should plan for Monday, February thirteenth," Dani said. "It will be their unlucky day and our Valentine's revenge. It will give us this weekend to get the banking all set up."

"I bet they will try to get together this weekend," Pia said. "If they do, we should all have our own party."

"That is a great idea," I said carefully, while looking at Dani and Julia who were just smiling like a pair of Cheshire cats.

Chapter 17: Cathy

Friday was the Provincial volleyball tournament which was downtown. There were eight teams, and it was single elimination. We were seeded number two, and were able to cruise to the finals where we had a very tight game.

Evie spiked the winning point into her crushed opponent for the win. The whole team went crazy, and they all carried her out to the locker room. I was proud of them all, and patiently waited for them to get out of the change room.

All the parents gave their respective kids rides home, so I was able to leave for home.

Evie was one of the last to leave, and her parents patiently waited in the bleachers.

"Mr. A., Tyra and I are having a little celebration tonight at her house," Evie said, with a wink. "Her parents are away, and it would be nice if you could join us."

"Evie, you know I can't do that," I said.

"We're going to be so bad," Evie said. "We want to be bad with you."

I shook my head and Evie hung hers in defeat.

"Maybe after school finishes," Evie offered.

"Maybe," I said, with a smile.

When I got home, Cathy had already gone to bed. I got online and started setting up a new bank account and applied for a new credit card.

On Saturday, Cathy suggested that she had to go to a walk-in clinic. She was still feeling awful.

I feigned some sympathy and offered to drive her. She declined and took her car.

I thought that this might be the start of an excuse to go to Rick's but no one else reported any additional indications of a get together. I went to my bank to sign off on the new account.

Julia had a friend who ran a restaurant with a private room that she had been able to reserve for Monday night, as it was generally a pretty slow time.

On Sunday, I came back after a long walk with Cindy in the park. Cathy was cooking a storm up in the kitchen and suggested that we have a nice dinner.

This was out of character for her in the past half year, and I was wondering what was up.

We had dinner and Cathy was really making an attempt to engage me with conversation. I was not taking the bait and responded with short answers to her questions and observations.

At the end of the dinner, Cathy finally came clean. "Andy, I know we have had some hard times since the summer," she said. "I got some amazing news yesterday and wanted to celebrate it tonight. I think it can be a new beginning for us and can barely hold it back."

I looked at her carefully and took a moment to respond. "What is your good news?" I said suspiciously.

"A miracle has occurred," she said with joy. "I didn't think it could happen, but somehow, we have managed to create a baby. I'm fourteen weeks pregnant and got the news yesterday, when I went to the clinic. They confirmed the test today."

I was silent for quite a while, and I could see worry creep into Cathy's face. I was furious inside. I couldn't spill the beans about what we knew, but I realized that I had other grounds to add doubt to who the father was.

"Cathy, the doctor told us that our chemistry was incompatible," I said.

"Well, the doctor was clearly wrong," Cathy said, with a bit of a forced smile.

I forced a smile of my own and said, "We'll have to start thinking of names. I think the name Jesus comes to mind."

"Why Jesus," Cathy said with some confusion.

"Well, it's said that Jesus was conceived immaculately," I said. "So, if you have a baby, it must have been conceived that way because we haven't had sex for months."

Cathy tried to plow on and said, "Oh, you must have forgotten."

I stayed silent for almost a minute and finally said, "I don't think I forgot, but we can always solve this with a paternity test."

"Andy, what are you accusing me of?" Cathy said, with some forced anger.

"Why don't we let the test tell you what I'm saying," I said.

"Well, I'm not submitting to any paternity test," Cathy said, defiantly. "You can think what you want and be involved with this child either with me or without me. In both scenarios you'll be contributing financially to our well being."

I was fuming, but managed to get my anger under control when I thought about our plan for tomorrow.

"Cathy, I need some time to consider this and possibly I'm forgetting something," I said. "Let me cool off and we can discuss this tomorrow night."

Cathy brightened significantly and thought that I would be agreeable as always. "Andy, I'm sorry, let's talk to figure out how we can work this out," she said.

"Just give me a day to cool down," I said.

"No problem, Andy," Cathy said. "You know I love you. It's been a hard few months, but I see brightness on the other side now."

I just about threw up at that last whopper, but maintained my cool and took Cindy for another walk.

Cathy tried to get me to come to bed, but I claimed to have to do marking for Monday.

I went out late that night and retrieved my spy camera from Rick's place and removed the tracking tag on his car. Pia and Dani had done the same with their husband's cars.

Chapter 18: Showdown

I woke up early on Monday to avoid Cathy, and quickly headed for school with a small bag of personal items that I didn't want her to destroy.

Dani and Pia were both in the staffroom and no one else was there yet.

"I'm so nervous," Pia said. "I thought I was so logical and prepared, but now I'm a bundle of nerves."

"Pia, you'll do great," I said, and gave her a hug.

Pia clung to me for a moment. "I don't know what I would have done without Dani or you," she said, meaningfully.

"We're all here to support each other," Dani said.

We discussed how we wanted to approach the confrontation tonight, and the ladies agreed that I should take the lead.

I reluctantly agreed and then spilled the story of my interaction with Cathy last night.

"That money-grubbing, lying whore," Dani spat.

"If I could maintain my cool last night, I shouldn't have an issue tonight," I said.

I felt my phone buzz and checked to find a message from Cathy saying how she was looking forward to seeing me tonight. "She might not feel that way after our meeting," I joked.

Julia joined us all for lunch. "Have you all thought about where you're going to sleep tonight?" she asked. "I think we should all get together at my place for a celebration. You can all crash there if you're comfortable."

I noticed Pia nodding her head to this plan which would complicate part of the celebration I wanted to have.

At two o'clock, I sent the message to Cathy, Jeff, Rick, and George from my anonymous account. It had the image from my first video of them filling all of Cathy's holes. The message read—'Come to Alice's restaurant at 3:45PM sharp unless you want this image spread across your school. Leave your phones in your cars.'

We had left them just enough time to make the drive to Alice's after the last class.

We wrapped up our class and headed out. I made a quick stop at home to pick up Cindy and her dog food. I didn't know what Cathy might do and wanted to be prepared.

When we got to Alice's it was three-fifteen. We all logged onto our bank accounts and transferred most of the money from our joint accounts into our personal accounts. We had all called our respective credit card companies to cancel all our mutual cards earlier.

I set up the laptop and ensured that the Wi-Fi was working and that I could stream my evidence from the cloud.

I pulled up my phone to see where Cathy was. The tracking showed her speeding towards us. We all watched in fascination as she drew closer. When she was outside the restaurant, we all sat on one side of the table and waited.

It was now three-forty-five, and they hadn't shown their faces yet.

We had all parked our cars away from the restaurant, so they wouldn't have that clue.

When it was three-fifty, I sent a text from the burner phone to all of them saying, "You have less than five minutes to show up before we hit send on the picture."

Almost immediately, the tracking showed Cathy moving the last few feet towards us. We could hear them enter the restaurant. We could hear Mel, the owner, directing them to our private room. "You need to leave your phones out here," he suggested.

There was grumbling and then a call to hurry up.

They burst through the door with mad faces and looked around to realize who had caught them.

"Well, I was right," Rick said, to the others.

Julia looked at the scanner that she had on top of the door and nodded at me indicating that they didn't have phones on them.

"Take a seat," I said with a strong voice, indicating that they sit on the far side from us.

"Well, the cuck speaks," said Rick, with a nasty demeanor.

"He does, and you'll do well to listen," Pia said, defiantly.

They all took a seat quietly. They all had aggressive looks on their faces.

"So, you caught us in flagrante," Cathy said. "I should have known after our talk last night. I'm glad that this is finally in the open. We can carry on without having to sneak around, and I'm still going to sue you for child support."

Rick, Jeff, and George looked at Cathy with surprise.

"I'm guessing that is news to her comrades," I said. "They are just coming to the realization that they may have fathered a baby with a whore."

"They may have," Cathy spat. "And won't it be sweet having you pay the support until you can force a paternity test on me in about ten years."

"That isn't going to happen," I said, calmly. "Jeff, George, and you're all going to sign separation and divorce papers tonight."

"Or what?" Rick asked. "Are you going to send that grainy image onto the internet on some revenge porn site. We'll sue you for everything you have. All it shows are some consenting adults engaging in sex.

"Let's get out of here and leave these losers to sulk," Jeff said, as he made a move to stand up.

"Oh, that isn't the extent of our ask," Dani said with venom.

"After signing the papers, you all have one week to leave the province and never return," I said.

"They are dreaming," George said. "I agree with Jeff let's leave here and go fuck."

"You can fuck, George," Pia said. "You can fuck right off. I never want to see you again."

"Fine by me," George retorted. "I'm going to fuck someone who wants it any way I want to give it."

"You fool," Pia said. "You could have had it any way you wanted, you just never tried or asked. I'm looking forward to giving my ass to someone who cares."

They all started to get up and I could see the girls on my side of the table wanting to say something.

I let them stand and maintained a smug face.

"You may want to take your seats again and hear what I'm actually threatening," I said, calmly.

"What threat could you make?" Rick asked, dismissively.

I pulled another printed image out. This was higher quality and showed Troy and Gerry in Rick's living room.

Rick hesitated and said with a little less confidence, "So what does this show?"

"It shows that you had students over to your house with your little sex ring," Dani said. "That is a breach of ethics that'll get you all fired."

"I don't see any sex going on," Jeff said.

"No, you don't, but it happened," I said.

"Even if it did, they are eighteen and are consenting adults," Cathy said. "They would have to prove it, and this evidence is inadmissible. Police won't touch it as there wasn't a crime. We should go and ignore these amateur sleuths. I need a good fucking and you have all seen how I like it."

I nodded to Dani who then lifted the laptop lid and hit play. Troy's confession played out on the screen and Rick's jaw dropped.

After it ended, Dani pulled up the pictures of the money transfer to Rick.

"Did that get your attention?" I asked. "We have proof with video, pictures, and confessions from two students that you were running a prostitution ring luring your students to pay for sex with one of their teachers.

"I think that would get the attention of the police and the school board, especially when it lands on the front page of the newspaper, and is reported on television and the internet."

Jeff grabbed the laptop from Dani with a smug look.

"Jeff, go ahead and take the laptop," I said. "It's property of our school and is just streaming the video from an anonymous account. Our messages were all from an anonymous email account and my text to you a few minutes ago, was from a burner phone.

"As the tech expert in your group, you should realize that there's no link of this information to us. If you try to cause us any harm, it will automatically get released and you'll be prosecuted for whatever harm you cause.

"You don't have to take my ex-wife back to Rick's place. You're already fucked and just way you like it, George. In the ass!"

Dani took back the laptop from Jeff's slack hands and opened it to show a picture of a Toronto Star newspaper headline saying, 'Teacher sex ring lures students to pay for sex.' Below the picture were head shots of the four of them.

"You might get the evidence thrown out in court," Pia said. "It won't matter, you'll have already been tried and condemned in court of public opinion. Your lives will be ruined, and you'll never work again."

They all had slack jaws and were totally silent for a change, as they thought through the implications.

"If you release this, you'll put yourself in the media, as well," Rick said.

"We're prepared to bear that if you won't accept our terms," Dani responded. "You're lucky that we're offering you this out, after what you've done. The big win for us is to get a clean break and ensure that you are all out of our lives forever."

"What about seeing my mother?" Cathy asked. "She isn't well, and I'll have to come back to help her."

"Like you were helping her last fall?" I asked, with a sarcastic tone. "You claimed you were helping her and instead you were whoring yourself out to high-school students. Why don't we show her the videos and see what she thinks?"

Cathy hung her head in defeat.

"Why do I have to leave?" Rick asked. "I wasn't cheating on any of you. Force them to go and let me stay."

Jeff, George, and Cathy all looked at Rick like he had grown a new head.

"Rick, you orchestrated this whole affair," Julia said. "You knowingly had sex with three married people and then lured in high-school students for money. I find your behaviour repugnant, and want to ensure you're out of the school system."

"How about selling my house?" Rick pleaded.

"You have seven days," I said. "I would pick a good agent and hire a mover quickly."

Jeff caved first and said, "Where are the papers that I need to sign."

Dani pulled them out and handed them over.

The others fell in line quickly.

They asked a few questions about the split of money which was fair.

Cathy signed an additional release testifying that her unborn child was not mine and relinquished her claim of any support.

George complained that he was getting the old car.

"George, stop," Pia said. "Sign the fucking papers. If you refuse, you will reap the wild wind of a shitstorm that'll destroy you."

When they had finished signing, I said, "George, Jeff, and Cathy, you'll find that there's only five thousand dollars left in each of our joint accounts. This will be enough money for a move. When you're at your new location, we'll give you the balance.

We have cancelled all of our credit cards, so you'll have to apply for new personal cards.

Remove all your possessions and clothing from your respective apartments tonight. Leave any possession that belongs to us there undamaged. If you damage, steal, or destroy any items, we'll take double that value out of the balance that we owe you. Be gone by four tomorrow."

"I thought we had a week," Cathy said.

"You have a week to leave the province," I responded. "After you leave here, I never want to see or talk to you again. Get the fuck out of the apartment tonight, and never contact me again."

Dani and Pia expressed similar sentiments to both of their ex-partners, as well.

All four hung their heads in defeat as they left. As soon as the door closed, we could hear them starting to argue like cats and dogs.

"Well, I think they deserve each other," I said.

"And I think we deserve each other, as well" Pia said with a smile as the tension lifted.

"Let's get out of here and back to my place," Julia offered.

We left a generous tip for Mel for letting us use his room and for playing bouncer. He was gracious and hoped we would all come back soon for a happier event.

We walked out to our respective cars and headed to Julia's.

Chapter 19: Come Together

Dani, Pia, and I pulled into Julia's place together. Julia was ahead of us, as she was parked closest to the restaurant. We were all giddy with success, and burst through Julia's front door with our overnight bags.

Julia was there to greet us, and had a bottle of champagne in her hands. The cork popped just as we entered, and we all cheered, as Julia poured us each a glass.

"Here's to freedom!" I toasted.

"To freedom!" everyone responded.

"Here's to never seeing those no-good-cheating-pimps-and-whores ever again," Dani said.

"Cheers!" we roared, as we drank.

"Here's to all of you," Pia said. "If you hadn't told me and helped me, I could have spent years in a shitty relationship with a philandering-bastard-of-a-husband. I owe you my life and I would do anything to repay you. But mainly, I want to spend more time with you. I love you all."

We all felt the emotion of what we had been through with Pia's heartfelt speech, and took turns giving her a big hug to affirm our friendship.

"The champagne bottle is empty," Julia complained. "Luckily, I have another, along with wine and fixins' for a good meal."

We all pitched in to make dinner and had a great time. Dessert was fresh fruit and some more wine.

"I took the liberty to talk to the principal on the way home," Julia said. "I told him that we had all had a significant life event today and hope he understood if we all took the day off tomorrow. He complained about the headache of finding three science teachers to fill in, but eventually relented, as you're some of his best teachers."

We all toasted the principal and were feeling well lubricated with all the wine and champagne. Pia and Julia were quite affected due to their diminutive size.

Julia started making comments about the sleeping accommodations for the evening. She only had a one-bedroom apartment.
