Oh God Thomas, I'm so glad we're finally getting to the last chapter. I really don't think I could read much more than that. This has been such a powerful and emotional story; I can't begin to tell you how it has affected me. Most probably that is a testament to your writing talent. Your Tyler Braxton story was emotional, but this goes so far beyond that, it's impossible to compare the two. I was left shaking and in a cold sweat by the end of the first page of this chapter. But when Martin said "I know Pete. We will make him pay. I have a plan." I lost it and burst into tears. Just knowing that Martin is by Peter's side in this gives me hope and releases some of the tension this story creates. While I'm hoping Peter gets revenge on all of the sick twisted men who abused him, I definitely want to see his stepfather pay the most. I have never been a violent person, but in this case, there is nothing you could do to Gen. Clark to make me have any sympathy for him. Hoping for a really big finish in the upcoming final chapter. Maybe I'm sick but I hope this ends in tragedy. Like 1984, there is no real resistance, just another ploy ti break their will completely. 2+2=5 comrade. Believe it lol

I don’t know how you plan to do it with one chapter remaining, especially with the Martin cliffhanger. Please take your time and do not rush the conclusion/payback…

I kinda hope that Pete does not trust his brother, at least, not completely. See what his brother can offer/what his plan is but keep the 31st plan to himself just in case he is being tricked. Almost seems like a kind of torture/interrogation type deal. Put Pete through hell then throw him a lifeline so he trusts his brother too much too quickly. The government has to know that something is going on, just not what yet.

To Tipmon: You raised a good point, and ordinarily I wouldn't completely trust Martin either. But, in the last couple chapters he has become more unhappy and distant from his stepfather. This makes me think that perhaps he somehow found out the truth. Also, it's now early morning of the 31st, it's probably too late to stop anything. And remember Peter has been repeatedly raped all night long by 70, maybe 80, or more men, so I doubt he'll be able to tell Martin anything about the RESISTENCE or their plan.
