Formulaic? This plot is following the exact same flowchart of what all stories exactly like this do: hate each other -> "the bet" -> obvious attraction-> sex --> fallout/feigned resistance --> reunited --> end scene. I'm going to stay the course in hopes of it doing something different with the material but it's not looking good. A shame because there's definitely potential here.
