Yet another excellent chapter in this great story. 5* all the way. Having served myself I can recall instances of being "Chewed out" by the boss, memories !!!

I had a few chewing outs by My Department Officer on a few occasions, including one that could have gone very badly but didn't. I truly believe that you need a good chewing out to become a good soldier or sailor. A good fight also helps to clear any frustrations or bad blood up and makes for a better friendship. To bad that the touchy feely military has taken over, I believe that a man or woman who works hard should be allowed to play just as hard.

You definitely hold the atmosphere of the COLD WAR flight line military mind set. As a 24 year Fighter Maintainer I can almost feel the tension in the room when the butt chewing was going on. Who set up the LT and Why ? I can not wait to find out the details of that story. Great story 5 stars again.
