I thought that emphasizing intention was a mistake. Read Edmund Husserl for a good starting point. You are confusing intention and ritual. Experimental evidence seems to reveal that intention is not real because it cannot be communicated except by media. Ritual is revealed experimentally as fundamentally a group experience of deep calmness much like a good placebo. Intention is Magick. It does not exist. Ritual is magical. Participation is unavoidable.
