mikeswives6 months agoThere is an interesting premise here that hopefully markgee75 will explore. Obviously, some of the other commenters think this is just a set up for the generic low grade cuck story. (I mean a story where there is little exploration of the characters and motivations, but is just a narrative of fictional events that lead to the female having sex.) To ratchet that up from sex story to "erotic literature" requires the reader to understand (if not embrace) the motivations of the characters. Indeed, we are at the juncture where the reader's understanding of the protagonist's inner make up is teetering him between being an insecure, shallow and uninteresting wimp or maybe an inexperienced young man struggling to embrace a larger concept of sexuality where growth is not being limited by the toxins of jealousy.
The story needs some work to keep the reader connected. It is a jerky ride, most notably with the transition, "Forward a few years". The pasionless style where that narrator says "He tried hard to hide his shock and surprise." could have engaged the reader more with someting like "the titillating banter
with Tina came to an abrupt halt when he was gut punched
by his old insecurities." In the latter, we are involved in the emotional journey. I think that emotions are erotic and sexual gymnastics are porn.
