Very kinky. I do wish we saw more of the walls in his mind crumbling and shifting. The sense of justice transformed as opposed to suppressed. The polarization of resistant subjects - while important in letting a hero 'bounce back' - skips a lot of the fun steps in brainwashing. We don't see the flaws the villain is taking advantage of, where their power finds purchase. Tis my main hitch with superhero mind-control. It typically circles back to making ex-machina drones. Makes the hero's sense of purpose seem untouchable.
