There's an infinity of life confined into small town worlds, and people watching people is one of the oldest games in the book. Sweet.

Great start. I see a great opportunity to additional chapters.

Loved it. The problem with true stories is you’re reluctant to embellish them, but a second chapter could be a fantasy follow up to a true start, and this tale would take that happily.
