Once upon a time, I thought ill of the hype to do everything in english. I was born and raised in Germany and I do love the german language. It’s a pretty cool tool to express things, if you are fluent with it (which isn’t as widespread these days as one could think…)

Over time I learned english out of necessity. My favorite roleplaying game wasn’t even published in german. I had to learn and got used to reading in english. Yet I didn’t like the thought to read books or view movies in english. It wasn’t necessary, because in fact IF something is translated professionally to german the job is almost always well done.

But then I found Lit and after reading the half dozen really great authors on the german side (and numerous others in the range from pretty good to extremely awful) I started with english stories.

Imagine the wide eyed look of a young boy suddenly realizing that he just happened to wake up in candy land… ;-D

Masses of amazing authors and really good stuff to read.

And now you start to close the gap, Bro!

I bet the english speaking community would love to read all of your stuff. I think it’s just a little bit different from what they normally encounter. If only because it was originally written in another language and carefully translated.

You are one of the best on the german side and I have no doubt that you will find a place on the upper side of the ladder here. Because you just are that good… ;-)

Neither to writing nor to this language. You've said it best, when you said, you were rusty. Now you have shook the rust off, and shown real brilliance.

This story is similar to your first but at the same time totally different!

Still the couple in love is the center of attention, but now there is way more. they are with their friends and family, they face a clear and present danger, not only remembered, but really experienced, and get seperated in the process, relying only on their believe and trust.

It's actually amazing, how you've managed to lead a real dozen of completly different characters - including the lizard, one of my favorites! - over the whole story, without once losing one of the characters characteristics and always keeping their antics and quirks.

When I read this story, I instantly got reminded on the episode in the forth season, where the plot was quite similar.

I've seen that you couldn't have known this episode, while writing this story. You must have foreseen it.
