I hope the password was supposed to be a hint that she's gaming him on, because this "plot" is getting painful to read.

She's trading the risk of life in prison for the risk of a death sentence for outright treason. I hope this intended to be some cunning plan, otherwise she's just an idiot. After all, the moron told her exactly what he would do to frame her - a plan that is not only sketchy at best, but falls apart if she reveals it to the upper levels before he can implement all of it.
