If I had as good a command of our language as you, it may be possible compliment you on the depth & intensity of this story. Sadly, I don't, so letting you know that I found this story to be one of the best written I have read in a long time will have to suffice. The values displayed- honesty, hard work, loyalty, love, as well as the ability to accept people for who they truly are, deep inside, are sadly far removed from the fabric of today's society. I loved your story. I was able to perceive the slow character build up of your characters. Thats what made it interesting and intriging. Basically, what Im trying to say is that, the characters had life, instead of just being a bunch of literals liberally sprinkled across some paper.

The problem with reading stories like this is that, I can be pretty sure that it will be a long while, before I would read a story this good... again;)

This is the best of the best. I teared up and thats not easy. Great job...turn this into a novel.

Did not like this submission at all, thought it was a labour to read and wasn't impressed in the slightest. Should have concentrated on the eroticism of the story and NOT the sob story that unfolded. Also found it un-realistic and the ending was disjointed.

One of the most heart warming stories I have read anywhere. I guess for an old guy I am a softy! This story made me very happy.

This story is just superb, not as an example of well-written erotica, but rather as an example of perfection to all who write stories. I can see them all: Charlie, Terry, the sad-faced Mr. Dobson, Wendy, the guests floating across the lawn, drinking the wine with the the brown-haired princess on the label, and perhaps most clearly of all, Laura, herself.

This story has to be one of the best written tales ever published on this site. It leaves out vulgar slang terms and replaces them with more adult themes adding a true professionalism to the entire piece. This author, of whom's work may not yet be published, has a real future in writing.

I have read some of your other stories but somehow missed this one previously. This is the fourth time I've read this wonderful story. Each time, it means more to me than the last. It is the finest love story I've ever read. Too bad Ronde is still not making a contribution to this venue.

Absolutely the best story, in any category, on this entire site. The author might consider developing it into a screen play. It reminded me, emotionally, of "The Summer of '42", the great coming-of-age movie from the '70's. The characters are believable, the situations are real, and it would easily make a wonderful movie.

This is such a fine story. The sincerity of the main chararcters pulled me right into this tale. Being a farmer and jack-of-all-trades myself, I especially appreciated the details concerning the work and the repairs at the vineyard. All of this made the development of the relationship so believable. The intense empathy between two humans is the basis for a very high form of erotic communication.
