A great well written story

Its a well crafted story, but the bees buzzing in the vineyard at flowering bother me a bit as the grapes shure don't need bees for pollination. Grapes as a species predate bees considerably , anyhow perhaps we should put it down to artistic license and just enjoy the offering.

Every woman wants to feel beautiful, even those of us the world sees as homely. That one special person can see the beautiful girls we once were. That feeling is so important to every woman. Thank you for showing a mature woman in such a lovely light.

This just goes to show that we need to look past a person's exterior to see the true beauty within.

I believe this would make a hell of a movie. While I hate her politics, Annette Benning would make a great Laura. Not sure about rest of cast. I know it would be a sucess. Every women would absolutely love this movie and men would like it I think as well.

I come to this site to read fuck stories. Your story had only one short episode of sex, and that was related in very a very sedate manner. BUT. Yours was a romantic story in the extreme. You write so well. I could not find a single error. Seems to me that Scott Fitzgerald had success with a novel called "Tender is the Night." I think your story rises to that level of tenderness. What a masterfully written tale. Hope you will write more (and maybe sneak in just a tad more sex).

This tale of a beautiful, sensual woman and a young man is so so wounderfully written it should be expanded to a novel. I do so hope to see more from this writer. I can only say thank you ever so much for this novella.

Dammit! This is about the 10th time I've read this since I saw it on a top list last year & my eyes still get wet. I had read many a stroke story on Literotica, enjoyed them all for the most part; but they never really spoke to me in a way that said "hey, why don't you give this a try?" And then I read this story: almost 10K words, long well-crafted buildup painting the characters with words, a lone sex scene that doesn't start until the end of the 1st page. Nice plot turning metaphor of his getting the tractor fixed & working again, then an O. Henry twist & a bittersweet ending. Brilliant. [my 1st story went out to an editor this week]
