Great story! And not enough people discuss their preferences ("Long, thick, curved?"). 😛
Thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of Jamie's emotions. Too often it's just about the physical. I have to wonder however, are they typical of a woman's emotional thinking, or just a man's imagining?
Going through her stuff was out of order. Talk about no personal boundaries.
@Anon, I must admit I am floored by your question... I suppose I must admit the emontional thinking is 'just a man's imagining' but I will see if I can get a view on whether my 'human emotional thinking' in this piece is credible for a woman. My defence is that as I am anti-misogonist thinking, my thinking is pro-feminist if not neutral.
Regarding this I have a phrase 'All men are mutants' based on the fact that one of our X chromosomes is smashed to bits and so looks like a Y (leading to a greater prevalence of several conditions from colour blindness to hemophillia)
Anon, I had commented, but it hasn't appeared - yet. Your question floored me as I didn't realise I had done so much emotional thinking. Yes it is a man's imagining, but I hope it's a sympathetic human imagining, not gender based. I also hope(d) a female writer/reader could anwer your question.
Aardie, yes, out of order, but probably shows what Ken is like and Liam would never have done such a thing.
@Anonymous, sorry that I'm commenting a month later (but I know that AlexFourways will appreciate a response). You wrote: "Thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of Jamie's emotions. Are you asking if a woman can have such intense carnal desires? Clearly you haven't read any of my stories!! 🤣 Absolutely. And are they "typical of a woman's emotional thinking..." Maybe not exactly typical, but there are men who don't enjoy watching sports and there are woman who don't find tarantulas icky. What's typical? Typical is overrated anyway!! Average is boring.
You stated that you "thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of Jamie's emotions," so I'm imagining that your question is purely academic. So, my answer would be that the Jamie's thoughts and actions may not be typical for a woman, but they are in no way unusual.
Lastly, AlexFourways asked if his writing on this point was "credible for a woman." Not only absolutely credible, but very realistic and most importantly, INTERESTING!!! That's why we're here!!
