A New Beginning Ch. 06

"Thank you Master.." She blushed, still not used to getting much praise from a master.

Kiryu placed his hands under her arms and lifted her onto his lap as though she were a child, and Ana blushed harder, burying her face in his chest.

He held her and almost rocked her as she relaxed in his arms and listened to his heartbeat. The sound was soothing and steady, and it easily had a very calming effect on Ana.

"Master.." She hummed softly.

Kiryu tilted her chin toward himself and looked into her eyes. The way they twinkled whenever she looked at him drove him crazy, but he had to remind himself that she was only a slave.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, she leaned in and kissed him.

Taken aback from her boldness, Kiryu pushed her off of him and stood up, glaring at her.

"I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking.." She apologized profusely.

"Don't EVER touch me unless I give you permission, slave." His emphasis on the last word made her head hang in shame. "You are NOT my love slave. You are just a slave who I had my way with, nothing more. I will continue to use you as I like, and you will comply without question, do you understand?" He said, attempting to hide his moment of vulnerability with anger.

"Y-Yes Master... I'm so sorry! I really am!" On the verge of tears, she looked so distraught over having upset him, and his heart ached. He wanted to keep her in check, but there had to be a better way than simply lashing out at her.. Dropping the angry persona, he stepped over to her and bent down to her level.

"I'm sorry for getting angry.. What I said.. it was the truth, but I shouldn't have said it that way.." He closed his eyes. What was he doing? Apologizing to a slave girl was unheard of. He absolutely was losing his mind!

Ana looked up sadly, and the two held eye contact for a long time before Ana threw her arms around his neck and hugged him.

"You're the best master a slave girl could ever have! Oh Master!" She sniffled into his shirt. "Help me be a better slave. I want to serve you and be such a good girl.. let me learn, please. You're so good to me, and I WILL be perfect someday if you help me, Sir."

As stupid as it sounded, Kiryu enjoyed having her so close to him of her own accord. After he'd scolded her, she still wanted to be close to him, and that was something he didn't understand...

"I... I will try, but you'll find I'm not as patient as I should be sometimes.. and I will have times when I do lash out." He said slowly, but held her close to him. "We need to learn to work together.. and maybe we can live peaceably with one another after we both learn some things.." He caressed her hair while she melted into him, and he knew he was losing his grip. He was tumbling down the rabbit hole, and knew he'd never be able to get back.

True to her word, after the incident in the office, Ana followed every instruction perfectly, to the letter. Everything was done in a higher protocol, and it was truly beautiful to see her obeying so perfectly and how she put her heart into every task. Chores were completed early, dinner was phenomenal, and now the two sat in the main room together. Kiryu in his chair, and Ana on her knees for him, waiting patiently to be given instruction.

Kiryu reached into the small bowl of popcorn that Ana had made for him as a snack and reached down to offer some to her. She accepted his offering and smiled at the treat.

"Thank you Master." She smiled, though her eyes remained reverently downcast.

Kiryu looked back to the television, then to his slave girl for a moment.

"You may watch if you want to." He reached down to pet her, and the girl seemed almost to purr at his touch.

"Aww.. sweet Kitten." Kiryu smiled at her.

Ana blushed, but her heart swelled at the thought of having a pet name. (No Pun Intended) Any form of verbal affection was new to her as a slave, but she thoroughly enjoyed it. She lifted her eyes to look at the TV and sighed happily, leaning against her Master's knee. She wanted to make him happy, and she was going to prove it to him.

Things were quiet for about an hour before Kiryu looked down at his kneeling slave, and she smiled up at him so sweetly and innocently that he had to smile back.

"It's late, Kitten." His eyes twinkled in amusement when he saw how she blushed again. "I think it's time for bed."

She wanted to push to stay up later, but remembered that she was attempting to impress him with as close as she could get to perfection, so she swallowed her comment and nodded.

"Yes Master." She couldn't help but smile at him even though she didn't want to sleep yet.

"You want to stay up, don't you?" He asked, petting her again.

"A slave wants what it's Master wants. Master says it is time for bed, so slave will happily obey." She answered, sitting up straighter.

"You really are a good girl." Kiryu smiled at her, and Ana beamed. "I'll tell you what. If you go upstairs and go to sleep like a good girl, we will have breakfast together tomorrow, and you may sit at the table with Master." He offered.

"You really would let me sit with you here at home? L-Like a free person?" She asked in utter disbelief.

"Only if you would like that."

Ana looked down for a moment, then back up and smiled at her Master.

"I would love that, Sir." She answered happily, but respectfully.

"Then we will do it. I will be downstairs on time, and you'll wait for me in your usual spot until I tell you otherwise, but once I do, you may sit with me and we can talk about whatever you want." Both were clearly pleased by this proposal, and Ana glanced nervously to the side before speaking.

"Master?"

"Yes?" He looked down affectionately.

"M-May I please hug you..?" She asked, worried that he might tell her no.

Kiryu hesitated at first, but ultimately nodded.

Ana's countenance lit up and she embraced her Master tightly; in all honesty it was disrespectful on many levels, but neither of them really cared.

"Thank you so much for everything Master. I will be a very good girl, I promise." She sighed contentedly.

"I know you will, my girl. I know.."
