The second chapter in this series is a superior fantasy read, as the main characters Arvan and Cassandra set out on their journeys. (The first chapter should be read first in order to properly understand this one). The story fully engages the reader, and there is a perfect balance between plot and love scenes, and the author weaves them together with consummate skill. Five stars for a fine new author.
