Getting to know the various persona at the school is interesting. I must admit I'm curious as to why the hedge maze is forbidden.

This is an excellent plot and very well-written. You have touched on most of the topics that I enjoy most. I can already envision how the parents interact with all of the students and faculty/staff! Keep more coming.
