I'm a big fan of your first two stories but this one was a bit of a letdown. I didn't like that you wrote grandma out, she was the reason I read it in the first place, though adding his mom was good. I'm afraid you lost me on this one when you left the story hanging, especially since there was an 8 year gap between parts 1-2 and a 3 year gap between 2-3. Regardless, I appreciate your work and will keep an eye out for the next part.
