I think you may need a proofreader as well as an editor. The story as a whole is good-a nice first effort. But to start a story out by thanking your editor and to have so many basic errors that a proofreader/editor should catch seems a bit awkward. I’m looking forward to the additional parts, but I hope more time is taken to tighten up the writing before posting. Story gets 4 stars, editing gets 2 stars.
